DEVIL FRUIT Name:Bari Bari no Mi (Barrier Fruit) Type: Paramecia Subtype: Production DESCRIPTION Base Power: The user becomes a Barrier Human, able to create a tough Barrier by crossing Index-and Middle fingers, for as long as they keep the fingers crossed. While it's hardness can be used offensively, the ability specializes into defensive usage, making it stronger on defensive moves. Defensive moves using the Barrier are able to defend against the equivalent of two moves of their rank in damage before breaking. The Barrier appears as either an invisible wall or transparent pane like glass, that's about 10cm thick. The user can shape it however they see fit, though the quadratic edge length of the barrier is limited to a fifth of the maximum range they can create the barrier in. Rookie Devil Fruit: Barrier can be created within 25 meters of user at a total size of 5 by 5 meters or equal surface. Junior Devil Fruit: Barriers last an additional round before disappearing for a total of two (2). Journeyman Devil Fruit: Barrier can be created within a total of 50 meters of user, at a total size of 10 by 10 meters or equal surface. User becomes able to create up to 2 total Barriers, one per pair of crossed fingers, that share the surface area limit but can be manipulated independent of each other. Expert Devil Fruit: Barriers last an additional round before disappearing for a total of three (3). Master Devil Fruit: Barrier can be created within a total of 75 meters of user, at a total size of 15 by 15 meters or equal surface. Weaknesses: Standard Devil Fruit weaknesses. Amounts of seawater may weaken or even dispel the barrier. A barrier dissolves if met by a volume of water about able cover half the surface of one side of the barrier. Seastone will break it upon impact and weaken on lighter contact.

Straight to the point. Check. Follows all the devilfruit ranking rules check. Thematic strength and weakness, check. Both faithfully follows the canon fruit and works within the sites system, approved. |

Sorry for the trouble, but we cannot allow anything unbreakable for the sake of site balance. Thank you for understanding.
Base Power: As mentioned earlier, you must take out any mention of the Barrier being unbreakable. I would also like you to mention something along the lines of "If the Barrier is used for defensive purposes, the Barrier is tougher." As in, defensive moves are more durable. Only fair considering you create one barrier at a time.
All Ranks: Your Barrier is allowed to be 1/5th the size of your total range. So a Rookie barrier is 5 meters large and so on. However, this also means choosing Duration for a rank (instead of range) means your barrier's maximum size won't increase for that rank (i.e. Master Rank).
Weakness: Include "Standard Devil Fruit weaknesses." Also, any amount of seawater is able to break your barrier. This counteracts the non-existence of readily available, natural weaknesses. You can remove the line "Limited size may not be sufficient for all purposes" because that's pretty natural for all things. And include a line saying "Defensive moves using the Barrier are able to defend against the equivalent of two of their rank in damage before breaking." So finally - you are allowed to have a maximum of 2 Barriers out at a time (1 per set of crossed fingers), but these barriers share the maximum size of one barrier.

Admin Notes: Any amount of water is ridiculous, please change to a sufficient amount, at least the amount from a water balloon or something, I think that is better.

Size coupled to range, ability to have a max of 2 barriers at a given rank, notes on strength and weakness added. Water dissolving clarified a bit.

Some things you have in your Base Power are better placed within the Weakness section, but close enough. Everything that needs to be there is somewhere.
