TASKS AND ADVENTURES
Tasks are a piece of work to be done or undertaken. For a character to take on a Task, they must first understand what a Task entails. A Task is a work that a character must complete. What a Task can range from can be wiping the deck of a ship to defeating a band of thugs located on an island. There is an endless amount of ideas for Tasks that can be thought of. Your only limit is your imagination.
A Task is separated by Ranks, determining the difficulty of the Task your character will be undertaking. Down below you'll find the template needed to make your very own Task. Post your custom Task within the Task and Adventures board and put it in Grading when it's done so staff or an admin can check it for you.
A Rookie Rank Task can have up to 25 enemies and the enemy count may go up another 25 enemies per Rank, however, it is not necessary BUT it does give your character a higher chance to receive a larger bounty or a promotion faster. Upon completing a Task, your character is given a set amount of beli and their achievements within that Task is marked down by staff or an admin behind closed doors. From there, we then begin to discuss when a bounty poster should be issued or when a promotion should be given out based on your character's accomplishments so far.
Per Rank of the Task you complete, you accumulate 25k Beli each time. So, let's say you finish a Journeyman Rank Task, you would earn yourself a whopping 75k Beli. The same thing applies to the word count needed for a Task. However, it goes up 500 words per Rank of the Task. So, a Masters Rank Task, for example, would require a total of 2500 words to be completed. While a Junior Rank Task would only require a 1000 words to be completed and finished. It is recommended you keep track of your all-time word count total since it is needed for Rank Ups.
A character cannot do a Task or Adventure that is above their Rank unless they are joined with a character of that Task or Adventure's Rank.
An Adventure is a collection of Tasks that consist of the bare minimum of 3 Tasks. Every Adventure is special as it furthers your character's story, development, and etc. Make an Adventure you go on mean something. A bounty of an individual, a promotion, or etc is issued by the staff of One Piece World after we have gone over all your character's accomplishments and decided on something suitable for your character. Adventures is usually what we look at most to determine what your character's bounty or promotion should be. An Adventure will reward your character with potentially slightly more beli than you expect if the staff is impressed by your Adventure's writing.
TALENT ADVENTURES: There is such a thing as a Talent Adventure that awards a character a Talent. However, a character can only complete a maximum of 5 Talent Adventures and each time they complete one, the next Talent Adventure is a Rank higher from the last. A character cannot complete a Talent Adventure that is above their Rank. This is a way for characters to train themselves and prepare for whatever the future awaits them. A character's Talent Adventure's word count DOES NOT and SHOULD NOT be added to the character's all-time total word count. So, as you can see, a Talent Adventure is a double-edged sword since it slows down your progress of Ranking Up but can also be a good thing if you need that extra Talent.

Task Name: Self explanatory
Task Rank: Task's Rank must be the Rank of the Enemy Leader you are facing off against in this Task.
Enemy Amounts: List how many enemies you are facing off against. Put none if you are facing off against none. (Example of Enemy Amounts is x10 Rookie Swordsmen and x15 Rookie Gunsmen)
Enemy Leader: Put none if you are facing off against no Enemy Leader. Put here the name of the Enemy's Leader and what Rank they are. Also include the Leader's Style and Haki if they have any of that. Enemy Leaders cannot have Devil Fruit. Only Special Tasks can have Enemy Leaders who have Devil Fruits.
Enemy Leader's Moves: Create up to at-least three Moves the Enemy Leader will use within the Task. Moves can be simplistic and basic, no need to make them all unique if you don't want to. We allow a lot of leeway with this part

SPECIALS AND EVENTS
A Special Task or an Adventure is a type of Task or Adventure that may sometimes be administered and hosted by staff. However, most of the time, Special Tasks and Adventures are given to a character to complete if staff deems that they should be given it. Special Tasks and Adventures are highly risky and quite long and hard to write but can be incredibly rewarding when completed. Every Special Task requires double the amount of words a regular average joe Task of its rank would require. These Special Tasks or Adventures can reward things such as Devil Fruits, access to the Black Market, Meito, and much more. In some cases, a Special Adventure or Special Task is capable of kickstarting an entire Event. Yet, this rarely happens and should not always be expected. Special Tasks, Special Adventures, and Events are capable of rewarding a character with lots of goodies and whatnot but can be rough completing.
Events are most of the time able to be joined by any Rank, no matter how weak or strong they are. Unless the Event is a very dangerous one, mostly everyone will be allowed to join in on the fun.
To obtain a Special Task or Adventure, one must apply down below using this template explaining and giving reason to why they should be given permission to make one.
If you have already completed a Special Task or Adventure not very long ago, you are likely to be denied a Special Task or Adventure. It is recommended you complete about five regular Adventures before your next Special Task or Adventure. If this is your first-time applying for a Special Task or Adventure and you have finished a few Adventures or a bunch of Tasks, you're likely to be approved to go ahead and register a Special.
