As a child, there were few in her life that she could trust. Her early master was someone she gave great respect to and even though there are things he has done terrible to her and others, she knows his true intention was for good.
Dislikes:
Traitors - Gaining Kaiser’s trust is difficult but if you were to take that and stomp it into the ground, you will never earn it again. Trust is something she sees great value in. If you cannot trust someone, they are not worth your kindness or mercy. Some may find her thinking cruel. People are known for making mistakes; whether or be out of fear or bribery. However, she cannot turn her back on someone she sees worth her trust and care. They are her closest companions. She has experienced betrayal too many times in her youth and doesn’t want to experience it ever again.
Abuse of Children - Kaiser is naturally motherly and has a soft spot for children and young kids. She will not and cannot stand for hurting children. She understands that sometimes children can be a bit misguided and will often do things for the wrong reasons, however, they are only children. They do not deserve to die for their stupid mistakes. There is so much hidden potential within a youth's mind and body. They will one day grow strong and take on the world that has put them down. Abusing their size and age just to feel superior annoys her the most.
Womanizers - Want to find the easiest way on Kaiser’s bad side? Try to flirt with her and be prepared for a sword through the throat. She hates cocky men who think they could just sweet talk their way into her bed. It’s annoying and she of all people will not stand for this. She has fought to earn the respect of those around her. She won’t let some little boy try and throw her name into the dirt. In her lifetime, Kaiser has never experienced proper romance and has grown secluded in her own thoughts. Moral of the story, don’t piss her off.

History:
Kaiser was born an only child upon Spider Miles. Her mother a native Kuja who had traveled back to her home only months after giving birth. Her father a marine having to leave the island very often. As a result, Kaiser often found herself being “raised” by small groups of troublemakers spending most of their time near the scrap plants. Kaiser rarely spoke and often was a loyal follower. Using her child charms, she was known for being quite the pickpocket gathering up anything visitors of the island may have had and giving it to those a part of the gang. She was known to be highly aggressive even getting into fistfights with her father whenever he decided to come home.
One day while scouting the docks, she attempted to pickpocket a stranger attempting to sell bladed weapons. She was chased up and down alleyways only to be cornered at a dead end. The man stood about 6’5” and elderly in appearance. From his attire, one could tell he was from Wano Country; most likely traveling to sell his handcrafted blades. After taking back the funds Kaiser had worked hard to steal, she vowed to haunt him for eternity since he spared her life.
Every day she would travel down to the docks shooting him dangerous looks. However, the male always seemed unphased even going so far as to offer her sweets and toys from his homeland. After months of glaring and cold words, she decided to confront him and learn his story. His name was Jozu. He was a swordsman and traveling smith from Wano. He has traveled far and wide to sell his life’s work and trade items here and there. When he felt he would grow tired of traveling, he would return home. Everything he carried and wore seemed to have a strange red moon on it. He said that it was his family’s brand. It stood for everything he believed in. It represented his dreams and hopes in life. At the time, Kaiser found that silly. However, everyone needed a dream.
Kaiser began to spend more and more time with the old man listening to his interesting sea stories and voyages. At the age of 10, he had offered to teach her the way of the sword. He said a girl like her shouldn’t be roaming around without a way to protect herself. He gave her one of his most precious swords; the Yuki no Hana. A blade so precious to him that he had spent years crafting it and naming it after his daughter and wife. Day in and day out, Kaiser practiced and was properly disciplined as if she were a part of a dojo. She spent less and less time at home with her uncaring father and the back street gangs she had once called family. She had found a new purpose and path through Jozu.
As she grew older, she would practice on her own. However, there would be times where she would travel to the docks and not see Jozu. He would leave her little notes saying he would have to leave town for a bit. Usually, the times he would be gone would be when large numbers of marines would be around. She couldn’t help but grow suspicious. At age 17, she had confronted him late at night at his home. She began to ask questions; questions that obviously made him uncomfortable. During their conversations, she heard what seemed to be marines at the door. Jozu instructed that she needed to leave and get out and that if she was seen with him, she would be arrested. She refused to go and as a result, was thrown out of the window. She landed in piles of metal; one of which had impaled her eye.
She felt betrayed but mostly she felt as though her master was in danger. For weeks, Jozu attempted to avoid her. He missed practices but continued to leave her notes. He said he had been traveling far and wide but refused to tell her that he was a wanted man. A dangerous pirate who had attempted various acts against the world government. He had destroyed countless marine vessels out of vengeance. Something about a buster call taking his family. He was destined to go to Impel Down but had paid the Marines to delay his time. Kaiser didn’t understand it at all. Her master was a strong man. Why did he fear the marines? Why did he continue to stay here where he was in danger.
Then it began to make sense. He wanted to teach her everything he had. He wanted to pass on his dream to her. His stories of voyages and fights. Standing with pirates at the horizon line. He wanted Kaiser to find her path; a path to the sea.
She needed to get her answers. She needed to confront him. By sheer luck, she found him within his home on a stormy night. He said that marines would be coming for him and that he would be transported to Impel Down in the morning. She asked if she had learned all she needed to carry on his dream. He instead said that he has taught her all he could. Now it was up to her to make her own story. Follow her own path. There was something she needed before accepting her master's fate. She asked to challenge him in hopes that the outcome with give her a clear understanding where her next path will take her.
They met at the scrap plant with swords in hand during the late hours. The sky complemented by a blood moon. Oddly fitting for their final encounter. Kaiser knew she couldn’t beat him but the outcome would be a way to remember him. They struck with great force. It was obvious Jozu had grown impressed by her skill. She withstood his attacks only to fall defeated. With a swift strike, Jozu would cut her right arm off and uttered his final words before leaving.
Never forget the red moon.
It didn’t take Kaiser long to recover. She felt hurt; mostly because she couldn’t protect her master from his fate. She vowed to carry on his legacy. She would become the strongest pirate. She would bare the red moon with pride in hopes of meeting her master again.
