RULES
Respect Among Members: You are expected to respect members as they would respect you. Breaking respect cause another member insulted you goes against this rule. Act your age and be the bigger man. Joking around is fine and all but keep respect among your peers.
Do Not Harass Moderators Or The Admin: However, you may pester them in a friendly matter if your request needing grading has been sitting for 48 hours. Yet, if you do pester them, do not do it angrily nor in a way, a moderator or admin deems poorly mannered. Moderators and admin will tend to a member as fast as possible and as best as possible. If you feel that a moderator is wrong on something, go directly to the big honcho and ask for help if you really feel you need to.
Reporting Or Showing A Moderator's Misconduct: This is allowed and permitted to the fullest. If a member catches a moderator of any kind saying something out of line, offensive, and rude to a member, that moderator is subject to punishment. Report moderator or member severe misconduct to an admin. Members have somewhat more leeway, however, do not take that lightly. Moderators are the face of the website and need to act properly. A moderator does not have the right to push members around and vice-versa. There is no bias when it comes to a moderator or member misconduct, it is absolute.
Follow The Standard RP Guidelines: No Godmodding of any kind. 50 Words per post. No codes that alter the website's set up in any way, shape or form. No content exceeding PG-13 regular content. Sexual acts and writings are not permitted. Romantic writings and etc are allowed. Cursing is allowed, however, not to a severe degree and not to other members OOC. Cursing at other characters IC is allowed. No plagiarism of any kind. No Meta-Gaming. No canon characters besides Gol D. Roger, Silvers Rayleigh, and Vegapunk can be mentioned. No story loopholes, refrain from creating these.
You Are Only Allowed In Five Threads At Once: You can only be in five threads at once. End a thread before you start another if you are in five threads at once already. A thread cannot take place after a death enabled thread, in order to avoid plotholes. This rule is universal among all your owned characters. We don't allow more than five threads for one person to be participating in at once. Five is the number of fingers on each. If you manage to become the owner of two characters, you are allowed seven topics all at once. However, becoming an owner of a third character does not allow you to be in more than seven topics at once. Seven is the maximum number allowed for owners of several or more characters.
You May Only Own Three Characters: They must be on their own separate accounts and a member must have completed the recent activity checks on all their characters.
No Technology Foreign From One Piece: It is known fairly well that One Piece can be a very technological anime at times, however, that does not permit writing in many of our modern day technology into the RP. Stick as best as you can to the pre-existing technology in One Piece and technology that is obvious to exist in One Piece.

Every Real Time Year Is Two Years: We need to keep an actual clock ticking and so this is what has been decided. Liquid time is a hassle to deal with when you need to explain how 17-year-old ages to 19 and a 17-year-old who journeyed with that 17-year-old hasn't aged at all. Two years is the amount of time that passed in the canon during the two-year timeskip. There is a special plot device known as the water of youth in cases where character's faceclaims do not change in age, so players can keep their character's appearance the same if they choose.
Color And Bold Dialogue And Actions: Color is preferred for dialogue. Bolding is preferred for actions IC that can directly or non-directly relate to combat. This is not a rule that you can be punished for but it is just a rule I hope everyone can adhere to.
Thread Types And Ending Threads: Threads types are tagged as three kinds here on One Piece World.
[Social] (A fun and usually relaxing social thread that you do when you want your character to meet some new people in a more casual setting that is not death enabled. A Social can turn into a Battle if all participants in the thread agree.)
[Battle] (A duel between characters that could end with one of the characters either defeated or killed. Any items, weapons, and etc that a character owns is viable to be taken by the winner of the battle. This is death enabled.)
[Task] (A regular task that includes things such as getting a cat from a tree, cleaning up a town of thugs, and just basically the normal things a pirate, revolutionary, or marine would usually do.)
[Adventure] (An adventure takes your character on well... an adventure! Your character gets to see new sights, take on crews, marine units, whatever it is you can think of that isn't too too spectacular! That is what falls under the adventure tag.)
[Special Task] (A special type of task that has your character doing something out of the ordinary such as breaking someone out of prison, targeting a world noble, or maybe even raiding an entire island. This is death enabled.)
[Special Adventure] (A special series of tasks that give the character insanely high rewards upon completing but can be very long to write and hard to complete without your character being badly injured at the end of it. This is death enabled.)
[EVENT] (An eventful occasion that is usually hosted by moderators, staff, or an admin. This is almost always death enabled.)
Death Enabled means that you are viable to die in that thread if you are not careful. Entering a death enabled thread means that you are risking your character dying in that thread.
Yet, do remember that you need to exit threads when you are over with them. You can exit a thread by posting EXIT in bold at the end of your post. Be sure to also include the total word count in your EXIT post.
Final Note: One Piece World will never close or not be available to the public. This RP consists of you, the player's characters and stories, systems, and NPCs that make up the world. Unlike other RP's, we will allow you to keep your own character and stories without the RP ever halting. This RP is to become the biggest and best One Piece RP for the sake of not just the creator's strife but everyone here's strife. Nobody will ever be prohibited from roleplaying here at One Piece World. However, if rules are broken within the Discord or Chatbox, expect retribution being needed.
