Alias/Nickname: "Two Tails" or "Nitsune"
Race: Mink
Gender: Male
Age: 17

Even when his mouth is closed his canines are easy to see from the corners of his snout.
Kokonotsu has a big fluffy fox tail that could be seen even when looking directly forward at him, though he is always swishing and moving it around. At the ends of his feet and hands his fur takes a darker shade looking more brownish than red or orange.
He commonly wears a pirates cap above his head, all the time for the most part- he wears a a a belt corset around his waist which condenses his fur along with loose flaps around a ring for a top. for bottoms he is commonly seen with shorts and long brown boots that reach just to past below his knees, his wardrobe changes very little- and because of his fur he even keeps it the same in harsh cold climates.
Hair fur Color: red and white
Eye Color: turquoise blue
Height: 5'2 ft
Weight: 125 lbs
Personality:
Kokonotsu is a passionate boy with an eye for wealth and a mind of creations. Kokonotsu has something of a fixation with things such as treasure or money and often is drawn to things simply for being shiny.
Kokonotsu is a proud pirate and gladly waves a black flag above his head. Kokonotsu not only believes himself to have the proper ideals of a pirate but he also has sort of a superiority complex toward other- pirates depending on their attitude. He usually believes himself to be "better" than pirates one would usually categorize as evil or mean spirited which are the prime targets of his taunting or whatever way he may express dislike toward such persona's. Kokonotsu takes his swordsmanship very seriously, although compared to other swordsman his discipline may not be as heavy or focused. Kokonotsu incorporated swordsmanship into his fighting style specifically because he thought it was cool- but once he actually started using swords he learned how to use them properly- he isn't personally a fan of anything other than a scimitar class blade or at least specifically uninterested in swords specifically classed as katana's or double edged, he much prefers the curved variety.
Kokonotsu will always be harsh towards those he deems unlikeable, but as far as the general public he can't help but respect his elders- coming from a background where the influence that made him who is he came from those older than him- such as his parents and uncles or even older cousins. Kokonotsu is also more prone to believe things from older people, as well as generally respect and look up to them more- he didn't spend a lot of time around people his age so as far as he was concerned anyone his age was probably just as ignorant. Speaking of other people, Kokonotsu may have somewhat of a superior outlook on evil people but as taught to him by his parents he doesn't do any specific negative discrimination toward humans, and sees them merely as minks without fur. Common of the mink tribe he is quite fond of more human-esque characters as well, regardless of who they may be he often treats human-types nicer in some form or fashion- rather unironically complimenting them or outright comforting them out of courtesy.
Kokonotsu has a heavy fixation with the ideals of freedom and affection. Despite being able to get violent and rather quickly mind you, Kokonotsu desires affection above all else, originally he planned on being a loving caring boy with a positive outlook on life and a primarily happy demeanor. While is evidently more violent than he intended to be he is still a very much loving creature.
Likes: While any food is good food to the young mink, he has a love for apples more than anything else- whether it be apple juice, apple pie a simple apple? he absolutely loves the stuff!
Kokonotsu as previously stated has a deep love for humans or as he refers to them "furless minks" this often includes close contact such as nuzzling, hugging or even lightly gnawing at their ears.
Of course the life of a pirate is one he respects, anyone who has dedicated their life to being the most free of all humans earns his immediate respect, of course he comes from a background where pirates were primarily bad guys in his eyes- but he doesn't view the general pirate life as one of criminal activity and moral abuse.
Dislikes: While primarily good spirited, Kokonotsu can be hostile or simply antagonistic of evil willed individuals. He likes to believe compared to others he is the least child-ish of any one his age, but the exception comes in when it comes to "evil" or mean spirited people- that remind him of the pirates he used to fight and the memory of the slave trade.
While not receiving as fair of a lookout on their pursuit as pirates were, Kokonotsu was introduced to marines in the worst way possible as he had been apprehended by corrupt marines who sought to sell them into the slave trade, but escaped before he could receive the brand. Kokonotsu absolutely hates marines above any faction- believing them to be the gunk left over in the drain after you take a long shower. He sees marines as the primary supporters of the slave trade which his parents had warned him about countless times, regardless of approach he is usually distrusting toward those who affiliate with the marines.
Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good
History: Kokonotsu's parents or rather his tribe was a band of fox minks that were not only familial with one another but an established group or "crew". Kokonotsu's parents were the specific leaders, but members consisted of(in relation to Kokonotsu) uncles, aunts and cousins. Kokonotsu specifically was the only child of Silver, his father and Oxxi his mother. The band that they lead was called "The Tails of the Nile" in relation to their familial origins off of Zou. As it is known in mink culture, each mink from birth is a natural born warrior and is always ready to defend themself, it was this burning hot strength in the hearts of the Tails Of the Nile that pushed their parents to create a group that existed for the sole purpose of exploration and escaping the new world.
Silver specifically wanted the best for his child, Kokonotsu and wanted to become an aristocrat within the east blue. For obvious reasons each of the Tails of the Nile had some affixation toward wealth or treasure- they simply wanted to live big like the rest of their hairless cousins known as "humans". TTN at the time was ignorant to the state of the world outside of their home, the celestial dragons and the world nobles in general as they were that looked down on species such as minks or even the sea dwelling fishmen as less than people and wanted them as property. The main obstacle of the Tails of The Nile was the war between the Yonkou or the emperors of the sea, not that they ever came into direct contact but they were commonly attacked by lesser pirates who sought value in the fox tribe for many reasons, some more obvious than others. Of course, for the most part they held their own and were the victors of the spouts with the other pirates- more than often they would rather flee than fight with the desire of rest in mind.
Through these tough times, Sliver and Oxxi were always awake- to take care of the crew, up twenty four seven looking after the ship and keeping watch of their family especially the young Kokonotsu. When he was old enough to walk, Kokonotsu himself was able to add to the strength of the "Tails" whilst learning everything valuable primarily from his father. Kokonotsu once questioned his father if they were pirates- he was never sure as they crews they were attacked by always fled by another name every other day. Although they truly weren't at the side of pirates- Silver rubbed his chin as he pondered on how to answer before finally answering no. With this answer he explained to his young son what made a pirate a pirate. Of course the common pirate was riddled with filth and primarily the worst person in you could think of in the world- but there was one aspect all pirate had in common, freedom.
Freedom was the theme every person desired one way or another- Oxxi jokingly stated if all else failed that they could probably become pirates- little did she know, young Kokonotsu had took her words to heart. Eventually, Kokonotsu had begun calling himself a pirate and even weld the common sword known as a scimitar. It was explained to him how he didn't need such a weapon being a mink, yet he found interest in them anyway. Kokonotsu had slowly progressed into his own person, becoming quite the scrapper and picking up interest in fundamentals. His interest in valuable wares grew with his experience- he had become somewhat of a tinkerer and liked building stuff, he would often pay close attention to the integrity of the crew's ship- he'd often be the one to take on repairs for the ship and scavenge small islands for things to board up the walls with.
Over the years the ship as been through a lot- but the Tails of the nile had been near their final destination. Kokonotsu had taken much longer than previously to collect supplies for the ship, as it probably wouldn't last much longer. As he returned to the ship he would notice an odd sound near where the ship would have been- rushing toward the source of the sounds he would come up upon his crew being attacked by...marines? He wasn't sure what the problem was- but wanting to be a pirate anyway he could only think to help his parents! When he appeared, Silver spotted him immediately and shouted for him to run instead. He couldn't listen- not now, not when he could fight! But when the marines laid eyes on the young mink the entire scene had changed. Instead of fighting- the marines had focused on apprehending the Tails of the Nile as soon as Kokonotsu was discovered- but why!? The young mink watched as his family and crew were apprehended by nets and cages, he himself soon fell victim to the same fate after putting up a decent fight. Before he knew it, Kokonotsu was in some smelly dark place with his parents, in some sort of...line-bound by the hands.
He was pushed and rushed toward some line of other people bound by their limbs from the front he could hear screams of pain- scared out of his mind he looked toward his taller father who could see the horrors from where he stood. Laying his eyes on his son, Kokonotsu, Silver had shot his eyes toward the moon! Silver had took on a form much more vicious than his previous visage, and broke from his bounds. Immediately an attempt was made to apprehend him. With very little options, He grabbed his son, stretching his arm back as far as he could as if throwing a baseball before launching the boy leaving him with the words.
"Be free! Kokonotsu!!" The young mink was launched aways across the island with the final words of his father lingering in his head....he was old enough to understand the meaning of those words. His heart broken he decided to take his father's words and follow them as his last wish, one thing led to another- Kokonotsu had stowaway in some marine ship and found himself in the north- The North Blue. The young mink was left with very little options and was full of regret. He ran when he had the power to fight...eventually he would find his parents and free them from wherever they were held. He couldn't live knowing his family was taken from him more than likely in pain, unable to help but blame himself- if he had stayed hidden on that island what would of happened then? Would the same outcome occur- him away from his parents regretting the decision he made? He couldn't sit still knowing they were out there. Silver had fought alongside his wife Oxxi to flee into the blues only for their child to try and break back in.
