TASK I
Four wannabe pirates have found themselves interlocked by fate's strings; one of the four pirates, Draco, lost his belongings to a thief in a brown coat and black bicorne. Having already set aside their grievances, the four pirates have split up. However, not all have split up to gather information about Draco's thief - only three of the four pirates have the same goal while the fourth is relatively aimless. Draco, Morgan, and Tejedor meet up to share information and discover the thief whereabouts. Through sheer coincidence, Yuki, the aimless fourth, finds herself within the thief's territory. How things play out from here is up fate!
Task Name: Conquering a Thief!
Task Rank: Rookie
Enemy Amounts: Various Hoodlums x12
Enemy Leader: Peruggia Vincenzo, The Thief!
Rank: Rookie
Style: Quick Hands
Enemy Leader's Moves:
Quick Draw - Peruggia uses quick hands to draw two pistols and fire one to three bullets per pistol.
Snatch and Run - Getting as close as possible to the opponent, Peruggia suddenly dashes past and brushes against the opponent. Used either to steal something from the opponent's person or get behind the opponent.
Slippery Drunkard - With not only quick hands but also quick reflexes, Peruggia dodges one or more attacks by wobbling back and forth.
TASK II
The marines have attempted to defeat Peruggia and those associated but have failed time and time again. The marines where just about to try defeating Peruggia's group again, but instead found Morgan, Draco, Yuki, and Tejedor. The four wannabe pirates were not praised for their work - each was instead recognized as a greater threat than Peruggia's group! The four pirates must now find a way to escape and create a plan to leave Spider Miles sooner than expected.
Task Name: Conquering Bad Timing!
Task Rank: Rookie
Enemy Amounts: Various Marines x18
Enemy Leader: Gilia Rovsky, Marine Officer
Rank: Rookie
Style: Overweight Boxing
Enemy Leader's Moves:
Shock Absorption - Gilia is big and...rotund. So rotund that blunt attacks have almost no effect on the walrus-like Marine. Gilia gets into a defensive stance and absorbs the shock of a blunt attack with a sturdy belly alone.
Shock Redirection - If blunt damage is successful against the large Marine, Gilia is able to redirect the shock of the hit and send half the damage back through a full force punch.
Illegal Headbutt - Despite being a boxer, Gilia is not above using a sturdy headbutt to inflict maximum damage at a surprising speed.
TASK III
All plans to leave an island require one key ingredient - naval transportation. The four wannabe pirates must execute their previously devised, Spider Miles escape plan and then get their hands on a ship. However, news of Yuki, Draco, Morgan, and Tejedor has reached all Marines stations within the various ports on Spider Miles. Thankfully, the Marine activity is scattered for the time being. On the other hand, with Peruggia's defeat having caught wind so quickly, ill informed bounty hunters feel the urge to snatch the newly formed pirate crew of four! Securing a ship will require an extra hurdle to surpass.
Task Name: Conquering a Bounty Hunter!
Task Rank: Rookie
Enemy Amounts: Various Marines x10, Various Bounty Hunters, x10
Enemy Leader: Tobin "Triple T" Thomas, Bounty Hunter
Rank: Rookie
Style: Triple Toxin
Enemy Leader's Moves:
Tripping Toad - Using a short range blow-dart tube, Tobin fires a dart which deals Rookie damage and injects a victim with a hallucinogenic toxin; the victim is quickly inflicted with vibrant, distracting distortions and personally familiar images which serve to weaken focus.
Torpid Tarantula - Short range blow-dart tube is used to fire a dart which deals Rookie damage and causes paralysis within the struck location for three posts.
Terminating Taipan - In order to keep the toxin at bay, Tobin uses a long range blow-dart tube to fire a dart which barely penetrates the surface of human skin. The feeling is like a weak insect bite - hardly noticeable but irritating nonetheless. However, what the dart lacks in physical power it more than makes up in toxicity; the delivered toxin is multi-staged and slow acting - first dizziness, then weakness, followed by a loss of consciousness, and inevitably death (the length of the stages varies per person).
TASK IV
Having finally reached a nearby port, the four pirates Yuki, Draco, Morgan, and Tejedor need to obtain a ship in order to leave Spider Miles. Unfortunately, all ships are either already owned, in need of repair, or too expensive. Suspiciously enough, one of the expensive ships looks far less valuable than the price tag insinuates, but luck's heavy hand strikes again - an antagonistic pirate crew intends to steal the oddly expensive ship! With enough persuasion, perhaps the expensive ship's seller is willing to lower the price due to the enemy pirate crew?
Task Name: Conquering a Haggler!
Task Rank: Rookie
Enemy Amounts: Various Pirates x25
Enemy Leader: Elton John, Pirate Captain
Rank: Rookie
Style: Feathery Onslaught
Enemy Leader's Moves:
Constricting Boa - Elton skillfully uses his sturdiest feather boa to ensnare a target and constrict them for steady Rookie Damage.
Boa's Fangs- Elton uses a more specialized feather boa armed with hidden razor blades to deal Rookie damage through whipping.
Camouflaged Boa - Elton swirls around his fluffiest feather boa and creates a light smokescreen of pink feathers. Due to Elton's clothing style, the true purpose of the feathery smokescreen is camouflage in order to sneak around the opponent.
