Spider Miles, a land known for its steel works. A land known for being mostly industry. A land for being neutral. And a land known for shouts of catch that kid, he owes us money? Wait. What? Let's zoom in on this fine island from above to get a look see as to what is going on. From up on high, through the cloud of steam and smoke coming off of the island's warehouses, and down to the streets below. First, they looked like ants, then zooming in one could see one particular spot, a spot of black tipped with blonde ahead of a pack of about thirteen behind it. The lead spot was leading the others around through the streets and back alleys.
No wait. Zooming in more, the narrator has determined it is not one spot leading a bunch of others. But rather, one lad being chased, harried, accosted, by an ornery group for some reason! What could that reason be? "COme on! I never said I would give you any Beli! ALl I said was I would make the trip worth your while! That means if you guys had a good time and a good laugh you are in no need of monetary worth!" Shouted the blonde runner, dressed up in a black jacket with several moons printed on it. He was trying his best to pull away from them, but when he took just a moment to try and talk to them, someone shot at him and broke a window. "I'm not paying for that either!"
He shouted while breaking in to a full on sprint. How did it come to this, thought the runner, named Willow Omens. His shoes hitting the ground with a thud every bound he took. Dangling from his left shoulder and around his right hip a messenger bag filled with something. On his back was that sheathe for the knife he clutched back handed in his right hand. Thinking back, maybe it wasn't wise to always sail off with pirates from island to island. But the plan was fool proof! Find a crew to get friendly with, make nice enough with them that he can get a ride to the next island, lather, rinse, repeat. But no, this captain in particular had to want money.
And so, Willow's adventure had begun off on Outset Island, and was coming to a rather abrupt halt at Spider Miles. He only hoped that he wouldn't be getting caught up in having his story ultimately end here. Not when he had so much to do, so much to see. It couldn't end here yet. He ducked down another alley, trying to lose them, but they always caught at least a glimpse of him, and gave the utmost chase. "Look! One of us is gonna get tired! ANd it's not gonna be me!" He shouted back at them. He didn't want to have to fight, it was too much of a bother to fight, but what other choice did he have? He ran in to a dead end, and now he was likely to end dead. If only there were someone out there who could even the odds in a one versus thirteen.

[googlefont=Open+Sans] passion of crimson [attr="class","firstfriend"] for him, i will become the true king of the sea his place was a wasteland. A pit of despair filled with lowlifes and scumbags. Everyday was a battle. Every night was a war. If you wanted to survive these streets, you need to be vigilant, calm, and always have the upper hand. Kaiser was practically born and raised in the alleyways. In her earlier days, she even took part in some of the dishonorable activities these goons did. It was her greatest shame to date. However, she had been given a new light. She was considered a bit of a defender in her own sense; as long as it benefited her in some way. She began to kneel as she gathered herself to the roof. Her vision scanning across the horizon. Another beautiful day, another tempting moment. The sea was calling her name but it was not time yet. Fate had not crossed her path. Instead, she remained in Spider Miles. Her home and her prison. She began to sit atop the roof and meditate. The rustling of the island filling her head with the usual noise. She needed to find her quiet place. She needed to keep out all the usual nonsense and find something to help escape the usual noise. Something new. "Look! One of us is gonna get tired! And it's not gonna be me!" Her eyes began to open the the sound of what seemed to be someone in distress. Probably some unlucky fool getting cornered in an alley. Bound to be beaten up and robbed. The usual. She began to lean slightly from her roof eyeing into the distance. She could just faintly make out figures running. Seems her prediction was correct. Oh and what great numbers there were. This poor kid would be in some danger. She began to stand and lift her sword walking along the roof. Her eyes remaining on the scene. Was it her fate to intervene? It was dishonorable to fight a battle that doesn't concern her. However, she had a sense of following what she believed was right. She quickly threw her sword before the boy landing perfectly within the ground. As the oppressors became confused by the sight, she quickly jumped down landing atop one of them and forcing them to the ground. Once she got a hold of her weapon, she began to fend off the fiends making sure her weapon was sheathed. She was not out for blood, but instead, a message. She could tell a low level grunt when she saw them. These thugs were nothing. Nothing compared to what she dealt with for years. As she knocked the last one out and began to jab at a few with her sword to see if they were still moving, she began to kneel down and cheek their pockets for anything of interest. Any sign of who sent them. No luck it seemed. Only money and a few weapons. Nothing she wanted to strip from them. She began to turn her head over her shoulder to look to the boy she had potentially saved. From the looks of it, he wasn't from around here. And if he was, she wondered who he pissed off to be attacked by so many grunts. "Run along kid. This place isn't a playground."With those words, she began to place her weapon at her side and walk out of the alley. She quickly kicked one of the grunts sending him flying to the other side. This place was getting more and more rat infested. It never was this bad during her youth. Well, at least she did one good thing today. Maybe that kid would live another day if he kept his nose out of where it shouldn't be. [googlefont=Montserrat][newclass=.firstfriend]z-index:2; position: relative;[/newclass]

Enter The Mink, Kokonotsuドンドン It was a long journey of nothing but pure solitary travel. The fox mink was the last known remaining member of his tribe- or at least as far as he was concerned the only one with their free will in tact. In truth, he didn't know what became of the rest of his kin but they definitely weren't here. The loneliness only left the mink to converse with himself ironically to keep him from going completely insane.
He built somewhat of a sense of humor from wandering these sea's alone, and now he was brought to an island that he didn't even recognize in the north blue, not that he'd recognize any island in the north blue to begin with. This place was strange though, oddly diverse but lacked lively atmosphere how could anyone live here. As he wandered down a seemingly endless path of his own dismay he laid his eyes upon someone who stood out. She had light pink hair that seemed like if it weren't held up in a pony-tail was long enough to be a cape, and yet even with it it still reached pretty far. She carried a weapon a weapon that seemed to have it's own story to tell.
Kokonotsu stood in place, gulping as he got goosebumps just from being within speaking range of the person. Out of curiosity he'd follow her once she seemed to have her attention caught in a peculiar direction- an alleyway. Whats this? was he going to get to see the stranger fight? He stealthily crept at the corner of a wall- surprisingly doing a pretty good job at not immediately being noticed with him having a thought or two in moving stealthily. Peaking only a single eye from the corner of the wall he'd witness her take on a group of thugs by herself!
Impressive, even with his own prowess Kokonotsu was certain at the very most he could only take about three people at once- though that estimate was without taking his swords into account- he'd probably do just as good if he were in her shoes. With a tad bit of eavesdropping it came upon Kokonotsu that this fight of hers didn't seem to be personal- she was saving some kid? Just because? That...changed how Kokonotsu looked at her! Some galant hero with no name? He'd hop from the shadows in front of the woman before she could exit the alley. "That was SO wizard! You're like some type of- SUPER woman!" He would emote hopping up and down on his two feet.
"Is that the millionth victim of that sword or something? do you want to test your luck against me maybe!?!?" The fox couldn't help but propose his own challenge to the woman. "Wait wait wait- you're probably too nice to just fight some random fox like me huh? Well I'll have you know- I'm a pirate!" Kokonotsu would put it simply, imagining that maybe the woman would be a bit less lenient with him knowing he lived a lawless life- then maybe he could get that challenge he wanted! "If I win I get to pinch your sword for myself!"

He managed to corner himself, hoisted in to his own pitar. In the time that he had spent trying to lose the pirates chasing him and get himself in to a location where he could hide or lose them thanks to his more slender frame, he wound up in a dead end. EMphasis on dead, and on end, and extra emphasis on the punctuation. It's just how screwed he felt at the moment! Thirteen against one. Well, he had a trump card up his sleeve. Even as he was reaching back for that knife behind his back, some force was rising up out of the ground, corporeal and hard to notice, as if a heatwave were rising up behind him. Instead, someone came to save him and whatever it was the lad was conjuring up was dissipated in one fell swoop! He was saved? He was saved! Wait, who saved him? Why? What was going on?
Who was his savior? A one eyed, one sword wielding, soaring pink haired people smasher. Someone with a distinct tattoo on their forehead. She looked reliable enough for his interests, those interests being a desire to find a good character to write about, and someone to venture around with. Well, that was all surface attraction, he would have to travel with her a bit to get a feel for the woman. Not in that sense, but more on a emotional and psychological scale. yeah, this woman, to be able to send thirteen armed pirates packing without even breaking as much as a sweat!
Speaking of the salty sea dogs, they were scattered about the alley way temporarily. If this were some kind of animated short or the like, they had their eyes whited out, mouths agape, and steam coming off of the fresh welts on their bodies from the force of the blows that had been struck on to them. After about fifteen seconds, they groaned and started to get up, before realizing who they were up against, the very woman that had just beaten the crap out of them! They got up, shouting something about how they would be sorry! They were just the tip of the iceberg. Maybe, just maybe, whatever this woman and WIllow had gotten in to, this was only the beginning.
And speaking of beginnings, someone new came in to the mix, a fox of all things, a walking, talking fox. Willow's eyebrow just quirked up as he brought his hands away from behind his back, from that knife, while this fox spoke to the pink haired woman. "Uh before you get to that and all. Thank you ma'am for saving me. But, I could have handled that myself, maybe, probably. Still, thanks again--" He trailed off, gesticulating toward the woman to see if she would introduce herself.

[googlefont=Open+Sans] passion of crimson [attr="class","firstfriend"] for him, i will become the true king of the sea ith a small motion of the arm, she began to lift a small cloth to her teeth and wrapped it around her blade to secure it to her side. She gave a small roll of her shoulders hearing no nearby disturbances. Well, that was taken care of pretty easily. However, the sudden rings of voices began make her go on guard. Her eyes darting not only to the male she had saved, but to an odd creature as well. Oh, a Mink. She had recalled their kind. Fluffy and easily underestimated. She wasn't going to let the harmless appearance throw her off. She had heard all kinds of stories of what these things were capable of. Her hand rested at the hilt of her blade eyeing the creature. "I assure you. I am not some sort of overly exaggerated icon. This place isn't safe for those who are not too familiar with how these alleys work. I advise you both to be careful."Before she knew it, the other male began to speak. Perhaps he would be more cautious of who he trusts and who he decides to associate himself with. However, as the male began to thank him, she simply remained still and averted her eyes away. "Well, if you COULD handle it yourself, you weren't exactly doing a good job at it. However, there is no need to thank me. I was simply taking out the trash as usual."
As the two continued to speak, she simply walked near the entrance of the alleyway and rolled her shoulders. Her eyes simply rolling at the Minks ramblings. Although she was flattered, she was no where near meeting that many enemies. Her blade was fragile to begin with. If she intended on going on some sort of deviant massacre, she wouldn't use something so precious to her. "Victim. Tch. You make it seem as though I am some sort of killer. No no. I'm far from it. And I have no intention of fighting you. Though, a bit of word of advice. Saying that you are a pirate so freely around here will easily get you skinned and eaten."
She turned to face the two as she placed her hand to her hip. These boys were practically begging to be robbed and beaten. She had no intention of playing babysitter for a couple of novelist pirates. However, they looked to her as if she had no sins. As if she were some sort of oddity. It was familiar. Fascinating in a sense. "It's not safe around here. Come on. My house isn't too far. I'll make some tea and some snacks and then we can talk."With a swift movement she began to leap to the roof tops of the alley. Sure she intended to help them, but was she going to make it easy? Of course not. She wasn't soft. She began to leap from roof to roof trailing towards the outskirts of the island. Where he masters home had been. Her eyes motioning behind her to the two. "Keep up. If your ass gets lost, I'm not coming back to safe you. Oh. The name is Bon Bon Kaiser. And if I were you, I'd hurry before the next swarm of goons decide to use you both as punching bags."
