Worries to what may come forth in her path, worries to whether she’ll be able to do what she’s attempting and most importantly worry that she’ll be too late in doing so. These thoughts plague her nightmares every time she goes to slumber and will likely continue until her progress in her mission develops.
Choko is a person that holds back her creativity to others, not trying to portray her as weak, but truthfully yearns to express herself freely without restraint. She has artistic skills which may go matched, however the beauty in her work shows as one may seem to feel emotions welling up within them from seeing her work. Currently that side of her is normally expressed in the maps that she charts, as she explores around the world seeking a key that may aid her obtain what she desires. Her creativity was developed by a sense of adventurous curiosity, one that was inspired by the stories of the vast world around her. While she may try to hide it, even though it’s under unfortunate circumstances that she was granted this chance, sailing through the unknown seas satisfies her inquisitive heart along with seeing brand new sights that were not available to her within the land of Zoa. For that, perhaps part of her wishes that her quest never comes to an end even if it rids her of a community that she holds dear but fortunately her integrity halts her selfish desires.
Being a Mink, if there’s one thing that you can expect no matter what age is that they instinctively know how to fight. She’s observant and cunning, when on the field of battle she can adapt more quickly to the situation then she could adapt to non-combatant situations. But perhaps her fault lies in the fact that she’s too eager, too in a rush that she simply never tries to stop and stay in the present to enjoy what’s currently there. Determination may simply lead to premature destruction, leaving only more anger and bitter memories to wallow on in a continuous cycle of torment. While she may adapt, she is also inexperienced and that will always remain to be a factor that would lead to mistakes and perhaps tragedy.

History: The mink was one along with the many of her kind that were born on the Island of Zou. It is a place that not known to many was an island that was situated on the back of a gigantic roaming elephant travelling the seas. The baby rabbit mink was named Choko out of relation to her chocolate hair-fur out of an instinctual decision by her mother. Zou was a complicated place where the laws differed in comparison to human settlements, but if there was something that was similar is that they had leaders and not only one. Her father, a rabbit mink whom was known as “Uru”, was one of the ruling powers whom was in charge with the education of the young ones and recording the historical events that have or is unfolding within the country. Her mother was his assistant, a lion Mink whom was called “Miruku”, acting as a teacher most of the time when she wasn’t caring for her child.
Choko as she grew up was told many stories about the land of Zou and the world around them, being at an impressionable age simple stories like these were the crucial part of her life that developed her as a Mink. Often, she would find herself venturing from the island to the edge of the elephant to take in the sight of the vast ocean and endless skies with a sense of yearning towards them. As she couldn’t leave due to being still a child, it was often a hobby of hers to draw and paint the sights that she saw in the distance, while also illustrating places that she believed to exist from her childish imagination. Soon enough when it came to learning, the rabbit was quite focused when it came to learning about the world and picked up whatever she could so that she may leave Zou one day for the sake of charting a path through the unknown.
Much like others of her kin, she had a natural skill when it came to combat and that was one that was developed upon getting to the age where she could be taught how to defend herself. From tutors, she learned the basic of hand to hand combat, while she seemed to have a knack when it came to wielding a rapier; utilizing her nimble rabbit speed and legs in order to have complete control over swiftly attacking while moving though the same could be done without a weapon. How to efficiently utilize the power of ‘Electro’ was also developed during training, while she never mastered it as her life wasn’t centred on being a fight she does know how to use it in order to defend if attacked. But this was mainly a means for her to use once she planned to venture into the vast reaches of the ocean once she was older. Unfortunately, it wasn’t anytime soon as soon a crisis occurred that forever changed the island of Zou.
A Yonko, the king of beasts chose to conquer Zou, his homeland with his crew that he amassed. While the Mink were strong, to reflect the attack of a Yonko was something that was impossible for them to do and in an instant the battle was loss with the losers living a life of servitude as under the man. Those whom rejected his rule or had any ties to the former leadership were branded as slaves and forced to cater to all of him and his crew whims and ultimately be pawns in a scheme of his. Choko’s father hatched a plan in order to allow his daughter to escape, not wanting his daughter to live a life shackled as a slave. But in aiding his daughter escaping on a small boat, it came at the cost of the man’s life, decapitated in front of her eyes. It was a tearful moment, while she had wished to go out to sea it wasn’t meant to be like this. She was traumatized, an emotion that eventually developed to become hatred for one of the powers of the ocean.
Since then, she has still been venturing the seas but not with the same goal as before. The Mink wants to amass power, strength in order to topple the Tocho’s rule and give back the land of Zou to its people, but she knows very well that she’s too young and too weak. That’s why her days are spent finding ways to overcome this, navigating around the world under the label of a pirate in order to do so as she's not a fan of the navy that simply twiddles with their thumbs as these incidents occur. Perhaps one day, a time may come where her dream would be accomplished, even if it’s not the original one that she intended.

- The Vast World – Since she was young, she had interest in the world that remained outside of her reaches from the aged elephant’s back, desperately attempting to capture it’s brilliance upon paper. But now that she’s finally out in the world, while she may hold back her emotions, her heart is always skipping a beat and racing whenever she sees something brand new whether that be a new island, people or simply even wildlife. There’s always something new and unique in the world and that’s what she believes gives it beauty and excitement.
- Charting Maps – Recording the places that she explores, drawing her vision of the sea onto a parchment, there’s something that’s rather mystical about it that she can never quite put her finger on. She takes great pride in her work, writing up important notes about certain locations as if she wanted someone to one day find and read through the records of the sea that she once made. Perhaps she does, but for now filling it all up has been secretly a dream of hers, even if that’s a dream unknown to her.
- Fencing – It may be a means to defend her, but it’s something that she genuinely enjoyed performing with her mother. While she may not be utilizing it for combat as she finds it more practical at the current point in time to use her claws along with the ability of electro as holding a weapon she has not hone isn’t best, she does sometimes fence at the shadows in order to recapture those times that she spent in her youth. Even if remembering such things she can’t go back to is bittersweet.
Dislikes:
- Yonko – The unspoken powers of the sea whom rule, those whom can do whatever they want as they have the power to and people merely shudder at the utter of their names. Due to what Zoa experienced, she has a biased opinion that all of them might as well be people whom are completely bad, especially the one that caused her homeland’s tragedy. While her opinion of the others can change if she meets them, she’ll have a special kind of hatred saved up for that other lion Mink.
- Slavery – While she was only a slave for a short while due to the efforts of her father, knowing that her family and community are still going through such torment is something that curdles her stomach fluids. Those whom perform such acts in the world to others are seen as people whom are disgusting to her and can never quite treat them like they’re another being. As far as she can be concerned, they deserve a swift death.
- Eating Animal/Creatures with Fur – It is something that just has been an unspoken rule in the land of Zoa. Maybe this might be due to the fact that it feels like borderline cannibalism or the animals share appearance with the Mink race, it just seems wrong. Despite not being at Zoa anymore, she adheres to this rule and shows a little distaste to those whom don’t.
