There was a small girl, what seemed like a mink child upon the worn pier, with a sack over her shoulder. But what was likely the more important part was that in-front of her a group of five were staring her down with obvious ill-intentions. How did this situation come to be? Choko had simply managed to find land after a long time of travelling in her boat, from what she learned in from her last time on a island there was a location that was the centre of production. This allowed her to have an idea to come here, seeing something that may aid her on her quest for power. A rare weapon? Or perhaps information on something else. While she was short on cash, that didn’t stop her from still attempting to see if she could scavenge up some kind of hope. But as soon as she reached land, men caught the eye of her and were most likely drawn to her rather exotic outfit that didn’t seem like your standard person along with the fact that looked like she was a child, despite being a teen. Perhaps they thought she was an easy target to steal from. Either way, it led to her being confronted by the group.
The thugs that had surrounded the girl looked at her menacingly, a few had guns and other had weapons brandished. They didn’t plan on utilizing them, after all from their standpoint the person in front of them seemed to be appeared to be a kid and for that reason they were severely underestimating her abilities. “You see girly, there are a lot of scary individuals around. If you hand over all of your goods, I’ll make sure to escort you right out of harm’s way, heh.” Said the grizzled man with a purple bandanna wrapped around his head, likely the acting leader of the crooks. Choko merely furrowed her brows as she looked to the gang of men, tilting her body to the left to view the scenery behind. There were some people whom passed by, but kept to themselves. Did they not want to get involved? “Gutless pigs.” The Mink spitted out under her breath, allowing a piercing glare to sit upon the men.
The men were caught off guard by her looks, seeming to look quite different than the harmless and wimpy target they were hoping for. “Oh, this little princess thinks she has quite a mouth huh?” The leader said in a sarcastic tone, approaching the girl with his armed hand resting upon his shoulder. But he had halted when one of his men seemed to have said something after an idea sprung into their mind. “Oi. Wait a minute. Isn’t this girl one of those uh- monks? No, Minks.” A devilish smile was worn on the grunt’s face. “Don’t they sell for a lot on the black market?” Choko twitched in annoyance at those words, but kept still and calm as her eyes were kept on the men reading their movements, there was no point in wasting her breath on these low-lives after all.
“Ah, great eye. I do believe your right.” The man’s eyes glanced her body up and down. “And judging by how she looks, she might just be a rare find too.” Was it commonplace that no matter where she went she always ran into people whom disgusted her? Not just one now, but all of the men gradually approached her as she readied her own hand into a fist. Since it came down to this, she didn’t mind beating up some small-time crooks in order to vent off some of her anger, at least then they maybe would think twice before attempting something like this again.

[googlefont=Open+Sans] passion of crimson [attr="class","firstfriend"] for him, i will become the true king of the sea veryday was never promised. Spider Miles was an unpredictable mass of destruction. One day, things could be going well. You may savor the joys of the morning sky in peace. Be enticed by the humming of the bird songs. However, other days could be complete and utter hell. Those who were not accustomed to the islands ways were destined for failure and death. Being taken advantaged of. She always feared for new incoming vessels. Travelers seeking riches or goods to trade were common sights. As a result, she had grown accustomed to training in proximity to the docks. Just to keep an eye out. If she was in a good mood, she would intervene but not all who approached the island were worth the time or had good intentions. After all, they were coming to Spider Miles so her suspicion was with reason. It had been another beautiful afternoon. The smell of the crisp waters of the sea calming her spirit. She had began the day at sunrise as usual. Multiple laps around the island, heavy lifting, stance and thrust practice, and a few hundred push ups to wind down with. A normal work out to pass the early hours of the day. She settled against a brick wall of a small shop and lowered the top of her kimono revealing her wrapped chest and sweat coated body. Her hand raising to her shoulder as she kneaded at the tense skin. A small huff could be heard leaving her lips before she began to hear the ringing of voices. Her back settled into the wall as her eyes drifted to the side. Just the usual scrobble among thugs. Most likely encountering an unsuspecting traveler. That voice had sound familiar however. She was certain it was a group she had encountered previous. They weren't exactly the smartest men nor where they worth the trouble. One of them was able to place a cut on her clothing, in response she happily beat his face in. She began to stand to her feet and adjust her clothing. Her steps were quiet as she began to travel down the docks to get a closer look. Her eyes focusing more and more. She couldn't quite tell who the visitor was and yet it seemed they were surrounded. However, at the mention of the visitor being a mink, she began to grow more and more concerned. Minks were often smuggled and sold at ridiculously high prices. She continued to walk until finally spotting an opening in the crowd. These monsters. They were picking on a little girl. Kaiser began to slow in her tracks. Her usual protective senses taking over her. If she didn't act quickly, this mink would be be taken away and surely, her guilt would grow. She began to approach behind one of the men and quickly grip at his neck. His yell of agony breaking the silence of the group. She began to elevate him off the ground and hold him to her side. A small deceleration of her presence. Her eyes traveling along the men who surrounded the small mink. A spark of fear appearing in her eyes. "What the hell?... What is Kaiser doing here!? Hey go away! We don't owe you nothin'!" "K-Kaiser?! Did the boss do something wrong?! Why is she here?" "What the hell?! Is she going to kill us for real this time?!" With a quick thrust of the arm, she began to throw the male off the dock and into the water. Her hand immediately lowering to her waist to take a hold of her sword. She began to dart her eyes to the small mink girl. She could feel the fire in her eyes. She was determined to get out of this difficulty alive. She could respect that. Even for someone so tiny, the might was there. She had a fire about her. Something that Kaiser could relate to. "Child. You wish to get out of this alive, correct? Well, follow my movements. and I will get you out safely." | ✉ | Momma Kaiser coming to the rescue |
