DEVIL FRUIT
Name: Bisu Bisu no Mi
Type: Paramecia
Subtype: Producer
Description: Upon eating the Bisu Bisu no Mi the user is turned into a "Biscuit Human" and bestowed with the ability to create biscuits by clapping their hands. Every clap creates a cracker through the use of Moves. If not manipulated further they will simply float in place. Their immanent durability paired with the fact that they can be moved and manipulated freely without requiring the user to make physical contact grants this Devil Fruit a high level of utility. Despite being biscuits and thereby a food product, they, however, are too hard to be eaten in their natural state and can only be turned edible if softened, for example by soaking them with water.
The procedure of breaking the biscuits down into a dusty veil of crumbs and reassembling them in a new form is a process that barely takes any time and can be performed in the middle of battle. While initially only capable of creating and manipulating simple structures, an increase in proficiency will eventually enable the user to further harden the created biscuits and to create and manipulate even highly complex constructs. While being in physical contact with the biscuits the user is also capable of imbuing them with Busōshoku Haki in order to further increase their defensive or offensive capabilities.
Weaknesses: Aside from the usual Devil Fruit weaknesses the biscuits created with the Bisu Bisu no Mi are weak to larger quantities of liquids, such as rain or the content of a wine barrel, as well as high levels of moisture in general. Coming into contact with liquids or being exposed to higher levels of moisture will cause them to soften, which doesn't only make them edible, but also reduces their defensive capabilities. If entirely soaked they will eventually fall apart altogether, which severely limits the capabilities of this Devil Fruit during heavy rainfall. Despite being able to create and manipulate the biscuits created with this ability, the user is by no means immune to their own creations, meaning that they can in theory be used against them. Needless to say that the constructs created from these cookies can also be destroyed if enough force is applied.
