[attr="class","life"] ❝ this is my time to do what I want and i'm probably going to hell [attr="class","les"] W hat a beautiful day! Dawn island was certainly a lovely place. The island was warm and nearly always full of interesting people; those who Gil enjoyed growing up with. In this particular day, he chose to visit the port of the Goa Kingdom along with his crew. You see, he used to do that a lot as a kid or a young teenager; because in Dawn Island, you could always find a way inside the Kingdom if you were witty and creative enough. Luckily, this time he was no longer a child; but rather، a legal adult! Which meant, well, more freedom inside the city and a free ticket it, based on the fact that he had found a way to allow the guards to let him inside! It was certainly exciting. His plan today was to present himself and his crew members as merchants from the distant Kano country. Once, in his travels when he worked with the actual merchants, Gil met a lad from this country. He was a large fellow with thick, log-like arms and neck and suspiciously thin legs. Due to a certain favor that Gil completed for him; a favor that anyone else would likely not have completed for him; as it involved interfering with criminals. As a token of the lad's esteem, he faked a business ID card for Gil. Now, that Gil was all set up, it was time to find cover stories for his friends! Shen was perhaps the easiest case; as his good looks and oddly pale white hair were more than enough to convince the guards that he is a representative of the Kano Country as well. The best thing was to observe the looks on the Guards' faces as they spotted the Golden Eyes, the golden eyes that gave them so many problems in the past. They didn't recognize him, as guards switched and retired every time, however, they were veteran. And they couldn't have missed the rumors about him and his little group of friends, who often picked fights with the local nobles and gave a lot of problems to the local marines. Luckily for Gil, he was convincing enough for them to let him inside. "Halt, golden-eyes" a tall, large guard sharply said. He gazed deeply at Gil's golden locks from under his helmet. He studied his features, and in return, had Gil smiling a large, teeth-revealing smile. It was a genuine smile. He giggled and nodded his head at the guard. "Yes, it's me!" he said to the guard. The guard raised an eyebrow and gave a quick look to his friend, who was quite puzzled by the sudden statement as well. Was the green-haired man trying to turn himself in? Hasn't he known that he is not exactly loved in the kingdom? Gil nodded in response once again. "Yes, it is me. Marshall Cole, the merchant! I know I am young, but as you surely already know, I have made myself quite the name throughout the Blues! He-he!" he suddenly added. After his rather unimpressive boasting, he quickly pulled out his ID and happily showed it to the guards. It was true! Well, according to the identification, it was. He was practically considered a royal. Hence, the guards quickly decided to allow him inside the Kingdom. He giggled in victory as he nobly stepped inside the Kingdom. This was the captain, after all; a man that would do anything to accomplish his goals. And he chuckled quite happily as they entered the town. Such was the Green-Haired boy; he was willing to do everything to accomplish his goals. A chaotic good man! Well, at least that is how he saw it. He really did just want to have fun around the Kingdom, and, well, it was sad that only way to do it was to lie their way inside, as they weren't nobles. But he couldn't care less, oh no, not Gil. Gil would never even think about these circumstances, much unlike many others. He would simply act! As they entered the city, the first place they visited was a pub Gil used to sneak into when he was a teenager. He sat down at the round, wooden table as a blonde, beautiful waitress approached the group. "A mug of ale, darling!" He happily called as a large smile was quickly being plastered on his lips. | [attr="class","goodness"] ✉ @someone ✉ @someone ✎ 713 words |

What am I doing here again? Hm. If Wolf's brought me here on account of his own personal business I'll have to kick his ass. If it benefits me I guess I can let him off the hook. Being in a place like this right now.. I've got bigger fish to fry. I still need to make a name for myself.. "Yo. Wolf. What're we doing again? Does it involve increasing our stature and power?"
Atlas already questions the leadership of Wolf D. Gil. After all, Atlas is two years older. The only reason he had joined Wolf's crew was because their end goals seemed to somewhat intertwine. That could mean working together would greatly benefit Atlas. Perhaps he would decide to stay for the hell of it. On the other hand, he would not hesitate to leave if need be. For now he would focus on the task at hand. Sneaking himself into the kingdom with a false alias.

[attr="class","life"] ❝ this is my time to do what I want and i'm probably going to hell [attr="class","les"] T he pub they visited now was... Definitely not humble. Well, it was to be expected of this magnificent, costly Kingdom. Gil could definitely not afford most of the items on the menu, which made it all the funnier in his mind to order a mug of ale in this place. This ale was probably 10 times fancier than what he was used to, but what the hell, it was still ale and he hoped it somehow tasted better than the normal ale he grew up on and liked so much. You see, the reason Gil liked normal ale so much was because normal ale was what he grew up on. Local, homemade ale tasted the best in his eyes. This place, most probably, held transported, mass-manufactured ale instead of homemade one. A kingdom so fancy and large must have kept provisions of a special factory of some sorts. Anyone who was enjoying a good mug of ale could tell it just by the look of this pub; it didn't even look like a pub. It looked like a fancy resteraunt with a marble, black marble bar stand instead of a normal wooden porch. Many, many chairs were now empty and facing the bartenders who occupied the giant stand; most of them were probably slaves. It was unlikely that nobles would work here, after all, and it was even more unlikely that people from various tribes and cultures would live freely in this city. This was perhaps the only option. However, quite interestingly, everybody who worked there plastered a large, fake smile which called only to question why they were here. Gil picked more than a few fights with the bouncers of such places over the years just by asking the supposed slaves why they seem so sad and desparate even though they held such a large smile. He always thought they seemed so desparate because of their eyes. They were dying. Their eyes gave off a sensation that they were... Dying, dying inside. Like they needed someone to reach out a hand and grab them; a hand to take them out of the misery. Gil always considered them to be prisoners of their own minds. You see, Gil strongly believed in freedom. Freedom of choice, specifically. He believed that every person has the right to live their lives how they see fit and regardless of the situation, they have the freedom to act in any way they want. He neglected to note that sometimes, the situation did call for the people to take certain choices. For example, out of fear of nobles killing their families, they decided to avoid fighting back. And this is only one example out of probably thousands. Gil surely understood it somewhere in his heart; however, he wasn't aware of it, or rather, didn't mark it as significant enough for him to bear this in mind at all times. " Of course it involves increasing our power, Shen! This city is full of trouble. And knowing me, I'll probably rub someone the wrong way, sooner or later, ya' know, ha-ha!"" he said rather loudly, luckily for them, not loud enough for anyone important enough to hear it. Well, knowing Gil, it really was true. He would definitely rub someone the wrong way, sooner or later. Due to his behavior and the noble, polite nature of this city, it was inevitable. Plus, he was practically aching for a fight lately! He's been dying to increase his bounty from zero, finally. He's gonna kick some ass in this town! As the blonde waitress arrived at their table, she too plastered a large smile that was more proud than anything else. It surely wasn't fake and she seemed to answer to the physical description of most of the royal women of this Kingdom. She was blonde, slim and of medium-short height. She wore a pretty face, large lips who were colored red and two pearl earrings. Her outfit was a simple buttoned shirt under a black vest and a bow tie that was tied to the shirt. She was a young girl who was hoping to work as a manager in this restaurant/pub and she was required to learn this work; or rather, she was the daughter/family relative of the owner(s). These were two possible scenarios out of dozens, though; as this Kingdom held more surprises than it could ever entail. The waitress was surely impressed by the two men; she thought them to represent royalty deep in her mind. Her proud smile was somewhat a gesture of brotherhood; as she felt as a noble between nobles, sort-of to speak. These two definitely answered the royal features, at least, in her own mind. As Gil saw her, he couldn't help but wonder if he had met her before. She seemed to be around his age, if not slightly older. He remembered approaching a girl who was looking quite like her when he was around 16 years of age and got rejected horribly, which made it all the more amusing if it was indeed that girl. Of course, it was funny in his mind! Rejections weren't something to avoid, they were amusing and they demonstrated just the fact that not all people like the same thing. Diversity and colorfulness were two incredibly unique features of the world that Gil deeply appreciated, and he could see them being applied to pretty much anything; even to a simple rejection, which on the face of the surface, could mean absolutely nothing, really. And that is, of course, only if it is indeed this girl who rejected him a few years back! Shortly after he happily spoke his order, she nodded at Gil and turned around to Shen, ready to write down his order as well. From her previous look at the two, she couldn't help but to blush. In her mind, they were two cute men, and she couldn't help but wonder who is cuter. Gil has barely noticed her blush and pondered if it was indeed the girl who rejected him, in return to the gesture her body was making. In his mind, it could also mean that she considered either him or Shen attractive; a nice thought to his self-esteem, surely! He chuckled quite happily before he spoke his order out. " Anything for you, sir? she softly asked. Her blue eyes scanning the duo, looking for clues to their true origin. It was relatively tough for a girl who kept seeing the same people all over again, seeing two people whose facial features were different than anything she had ever seen. Yes, they looked noble; but it was mainly due to the choice of clothes. At least, when talking about Gil; as instead of his normal attire, he wore fancy clothes. A white suit with a dark-green tie above a black buttoned shirt. She observed his golden eyes again, eyes which she seemingly has never seen before and couldn't help but to ponder where he was from. Perhaps, the Grand Line? Or rather, one of the other Blues? Due to her being of a noble birth, she didn't hesitate to ask. " Excuse me, kind gentlemen, but may I ask where are you two from?" she said, maintaining a higher tone than normal; suggesting about her curiosity. Gil hasn't even looked at Shen before he immediately replied, leaving the man no chance to reveal their true origins. " We're from the Kano Country, ya' know!" he said, in a tone that was clearly showing he was not even close to nobility. He, however, realized it only when the waitress raised an eyebrow at him, quite visibly surprised by his choice of words. He chuckled a short laughter and leaned back in his chair, not bothered by the situation even slightly. " E-e-excuse me, sir?" she asked, her eyebrows slightly raised and her tone higher than before. " KANO COUNTRY!" he said again, this time louder. The woman never heard someone speaking to her so casually, neglecting basic manners common amongst nobles. He then turned to Atlas and winked at him and quickly returned a look to the waitress, who was nodding and leaving to get their orders. Well, this was certainly surprising for her, but she figured that this green-haired man was someone very important, hence he allowed himself to speak this way. It was surprising, yes, and she heard nobles talking to each other this way, but never to herself. Well, it had to happen sometime! At least, so she thought. She quickly served them their orders and noticed two other people entering the restaurant. She quickly smiled at them from afar. The duo was followed by additional three people, all answering the same features and wearing the same clothes. Black clothes with white ties and black fedoras. They looked more like mobsters than anything, really. This group of people was no stranger to this place, and the waitress has known them well. As she found a table for them, she prepared to write down their orders. However, before she got the chance, one of these men asked about the duo who were seated at a table relatively far from them; around 15 meters or so. The others observed them eventually as well. They have never seen them before. Not that it was uncommon for nobles to enter the Kingdom, but rather, these two didn't strike them as the typical nobles. Their facial features were too unique for that. Most nobles answered the same features; blonde and black hair with blue or brown eyes. These two... Well, were definitely not answering this description. The golden eyes of Gil were something that was rare even amongst other races in the world, and red eyes? Man, that was even rarer than that. The waitress quickly told them that these two are from the Kano country and one of them raised an eyebrow. This was a bit weird, yeah, but they were willing to let it go for now. After all, they were in this place to eat. Gil observed them as well and nodded at them a respective bow. " Search for power, Shen? These people are probably our fastest way for trouble in this city. Yeah, I'm pretty familiar with the folks around here. They are either personal bodyguards of a noble or agents of some sort, ha-ha" he said and chugged some of the ale. He let out a pleased sigh and continued. The ale tasted better than he thought! It seemed that this Kingdom had good ale to offer. Better than he thought, that's for sure. It was not homemade, he could tell, but it was still good. A good ol' factory ale! " These guys are the key to improve our bounties, 'kay? So, you think you can take them on?" he continued and leaned forward towards Shen. " Eh??" he asked again, this time louder, with his eyebrows raised and a large smile plastered on his lips. A gesture that was meant to annoy Shen and to force a reaction from him. He wanted to see this man in a battle again. He was aching to see him fight! He was a good fighter. His swords were capable of cutting a lot of things, with their impressive wind air projectiles. Gil has teased others relatively often. He liked playing with people this way. And he knew that Shen was looking for trouble, too. They were pirates! They wanted to fight. And these nobles of this city? Man, it's not that they cared too much about them, at least Gill didn't, but they were still annoying. Annoying enough to deserve a good beating. And the smug-looking people who eyed them suspiciously? They were practically looking for trouble as well, you know! Well, at least in Gil's mind. Such was the Green-haired man. He liked fighting strong people. And these people? They seemed capable enough to earn his curiosity. So, what is is the red-eyed man going to do? And how will the future scene unfold? Would it be smarter to keep quiet for a while, or rather, spring right into action? Gil would probably approach them and tease them a little, as this was what he thought the situation called for. | [attr="class","goodness"] ✉ @someone ✎ 2,018 words |

Atlas took a look around. The place they were in now was not too bad at all. In fact, Atlas wondered how they had gotten in here at all. Well, of course they had faked their identities and all, but still! This place was wonderful. There was no way that this place was a mere pub. It really appeared to Atlas as a high class restaurant with a few bar like installations made to be a bit more convenient. It was filled with enticing aromas that seemed to be gravitating straight to Atlas' nostrils. He would deliberately take deep breaths just to experience each smell over again. So this was the true wealth of the Goa Kingdom? Interesting. Perhaps he would have to take a slight detour, and claim some souvenirs from a few unwilling volunteers.. They wouldn't miss anything with wealth like this would they?
He hardly noticed Gil speaking back to him, over the high volume of the pub. Atlas noted the fact that Gil confirmed an increase of power as an outcome of coming here. He nodded his head in satisfaction. That was good. However, he also took note of the additional words. So he had plans to irk someone while they were here? What a bother. Hopefully it would be somebody of high strength. Otherwise it would be nothing but mischief. Mischief was something Atlas frowned upon. He didn't have time for any playing around. Yes, his ambitions were waiting for him to fulfill them, on the other hand, his age was not. He sighed before speaking back to Gil. "If you want to 'rub someone the wrong way' please make sure they have some ability to fight. We don't have time for damn games, you know we have bigger plans than hanging around in places like this..."
As he finished up his speech with an eye roll to top it off, Atlas nearly had a heart attack. He had not even notice the waitress who stood right before them. She was blonde, with a slim figure and about the average height for a woman. Atlas' eyes nearly burst out of his head in heart shapes. How could he have completely disregarded this goddess of a woman?! As she asked him what he would like to order, he snapped back to reality. "Oh, I'll have what he's having." Atlas did not want to seem unoriginal to the lady. but he had not even looked at the menu. His eyes had been too busy flicking around the pub in all its glory.
The waitress had asked another question before leaving to get them what they had ordered. She had asked them where they were from. Atlas had already expected Gil to speak to the woman in an absurd way, which was why he attempted to quickly force his words out before Gil "Us? We-" He was interrupted by none other than Gil. Of course.. He had spoken to her in a completely obnoxious way. Atlas quickly apologized to the woman before she ran off. "Um, please excuse my friend. A woman who looks as good as you should be spoken to with much more respect. Please, please ignore his childishness." After she had wandered off, Atlas punched Gil in the shoulder. "God damnit, why did I except any more from you? That was a lady. A good looking one at that. Nevermind."
Atlas frustrated, once again allowed his eyes to get lost in the pub. He noticed the men that who just recently stepped into the building, and they noticed him. Hmmm, interesting. Perhaps these men are powerful both politically and physically. They seem to look important enough. He unconsciously picked up the mug that the waitress had brought to him, and sipped a bit of ale from it. He was pulled from his thoughts as he recognized the caliber of the ale. Why have I never known of this? Hm. No matter. As if to confirm his thoughts about the recently entered men, Gil told him they had the ability to up their bounties. He then asked if Atlas thought he was able to take them on. "The hell? What kind of question is that? I ought to slap some sense into you right now. First you scare away the pretty lady, and now you underestimate me. Damn bro." Atlas stood up, loudly pushing out his chair. "Let's go right now."

[attr="class","life"] ❝ this is my time to do what I want and i'm probably going to hell [attr="class","les"] G il only giggled as the white haired man left his remark about them having bigger plans than just spending time in places like these. This man was so wrong! In places like these, he could find what he's looking for. And that is, pure action. Sooner or later, people who are looking for trouble would arrive; and such was the case a minute or so after the white haired man spoke his words. He didn't mind him saying it too much, however, he has found it amusing. Gil was laughing as the white-haired man struggled to remain so gentle and kind to the waitress when she approached to get their orders shortly after Shen spoke his mind about them spending time in this place. It was exceptionally amusing to Gil to see Shen changing from such a free-spirited, calm, laid-back guy who speaks his mind regardless of the context it holds, to a civilized, almost scared gentleman all of a sudden. However it wasn't the first time it happened, and still, somehow, it was funny in the green-haired's mind. Shortly after he received the punch to the shoulder, Gil burst out laughing yet again. This time, because he managed to tease Shen enough to receive a punch to the shoulder. Whether it was serious or not, Gil didn't care. He only laughed because it was amusing in his mind that the guy is so obsessed with remaining polite to women. He wasn't mocking him for that, he was merely laughing at the idea of a sudden change of behavior. Not from a mean or an evil place - from a curious, acceptive place that allowed him to take everything lightly. Even his own demeanor, at times, was amusing in the man's mind. Gil didn't believe that there were subjects he isn't allowed to take lightly; well, at least he hasn't come upon some. World Nobles, Marines, Pirates, Heroes, Beggars; everyone had their funny quirks. Even Gil's own incompetency to remain out of trouble was funny in the man's mind. With this short laughter, the subject was behind the duo as far as Gil was concerned and he proceeded to chug an additional impressive portion of his ale. The group of five men was eyeing the duo collectively as the white-haired man replied to Gil and loudly pushed out his own chair. The one who seemed more experienced than the rest was a middle-aged man with a black mustache and thin brown eyebrows. He wore brown eyes and sported a silky hair that was brushed to the side under a black fedora with a white tie. He held a cigar in his mouth and hasn't let go of it for a few long minutes. He kept his gaze focused at the duo ever since he spotted them and occasionally gave off angry looks to the two men. He knew these two weren't nobles. Their behavior and appearance were more than enough to convince the man who spent all of his life around nobles that these two were no more than lowly merchants at best. Or so he thought. He was not aware that these two are pirates. However, it didn't matter to him if they were pirates or not. It was enough that they were not Nobles. It meant that they didn't belong in the city in the man's mind. Ever since they entered, the man thought of a way to get these two out of his favorite pub. Hence, when the white-haired man stood up loudly, he basically created the best opportunity for him to execute his plan if need be. Two of the five men stood up immediately - both of them, towering men, each one easily surpassing 6'4" and weighing well over 250 lbs. They were both bald and relatively unattractive, to say the least. They were basically the human application of the idea of Trolls. They both stood there, waiting for the men to advance towards them with their hands crossed and their teeth gritted. Gil hasn't let out a sound except the thin melody of his lips breaking apart as a smile formed from one ear to the other. He hasn't stood up yet - he simply remained seated and kept chugging his ale. Would Shen advance towards them, he'd probably get up; but eh, who knows when it comes to Gil! This man could change his demeanor every second. He is the living proof of the dynamic nature of the world, after all! Or, well, at least in his own mind, he is. The blonde waitress suddenly opened her eyes widely and covered her large red lips with her small palms as surprise took over her body from seeing the white-haired man getting up so casually. Light blushes along with sprinkles of doubt were most she was occupied by at that moment; as she couldn't decide if the white-haired man's action was attractive or scary. Perhaps, a bit of both? Gil eyed her and chuckled slightly more. ' This guy. He doesn't know a thing about women, ha-ha!' he thought to himself, referencing to Shen's wish to be as polite and kind to women as possible; even though they were usually attractive to him remaining honest to himself and his nature. However, it was a part of his character. And Gil respected it completely. Who knows what made this man respect women so much? Gil found that people vary so much from each other and each person has their own life story that shaped them and made them who they are today, hence you could never know if changing a trait that seems useless on the surface is something that is necessary or even beneficial for them. Gil allowed the woman to gaze at the white-haired man for a few seconds as he waved at her and gestured for her to return to the table, to which she immediately responded with a confused look plastered on her face. She was absolutely sure something was up with that boy by now. It was not the way to signal waitresses to approach a table and it far exceeded the limits of common politeness between nobles. She was on the border between anger and confusion now, really. She was about to confront him about his ill-mannered behavior, however, he got the first word due to his stubbornness and she kept her mouth quiet. " Hey there, Sunshine. I got two things to ask of you. The first one is - give me another mug of ale, please! the second one, give me your special bowl of Ramen" he almost barked happily, neglecting his own rude tone. At this point, the woman guessed that he is not an ordinary noble. No one of that stature would speak so freely and casually to another noble. He then scratched his chin and clapped his fingers. " Oh, and - please, stand by as my friend is going towards these boys. I assure ya', we're not gonna do anything to this place. It's lovely" he said and leaned back in his seat, returning his look to scout Shen's possible actions. The woman was quick to advance towards the group of men as she suspected something was wrong about this duo by now. Gil sighed and shook his head as she did, thinking to himself that she could have just gone along with it and could have fulfilled his request. It wasn't too hard, you know! Just to keep quiet and trust him, a weird-looking green-haired boy she has never met before and gave off a vibe she has never felt before. But, what the hell. None of this mattered to Gil anymore. This is what he is living for, right? Fighting it is. Or so he guessed. He still wasn't sure how they would fight or if he would need to use his power that might actually destroy the place. He would come to a decision, sooner or later, though. But this is not for Gil at that moment to decide; he left it for himself in 10 seconds from then to decide. It all depends on how would the future scene unfold and what actions the white-haired man would choose to take, and in response, the actions that the group of men would choose to take as well. However, all he saw now were two massive dudes who seemed ready to crush everything in their way. And, to be honest; it didn't make him flinch or shy away from them. The opposite. He wanted to test out their gritted teeth, to see how formidable and tough they really are in the face of real danger. | [attr="class","goodness"] ✉ ✎ 1,434 words |

It felt good here, Rei thought as she moved across the paved road. It was troublesome to do so, but not impossible. Still, this meant she was going extremely slow. She didn't mind, though, as it gave her a chance to observe more of this world, its inhabitants and their behavior. There was plenty of sounds around her, sounds that she enjoyed. Eventually, her gaze was drawn to the small house nearby. There was a light coming out of that house. Curiosity made her go inside. The inside was full of tables and chairs. And people, plenty of people. Rei beamed at that. Surely there must be a pirate here whose crew she could join.
"Excuse me, but who is in charge here?" she inquired "I need to ask them something."
One of the people gathered pointed towards what looked like a tall wall in the back. Rei looked in that direction and saw the man standing behind the 'wall'. Thanking them, Rei moved in that direction.
"Excuse me, but are there any pirates around here?" Rei asked the man in charge "Preferably a Captain?"

Atlas "The CONTINUOUS rise of my will and ambition is what makes me better than you. It's simple."
Wolf D. Gil To Atlas, Gil was too carefree, and it bothered Atlas. Of course Atlas himself could be considered laid back or chill, but it was different with Gil. It seemed he found everything as a joke. But then maybe it was because he was messing around and laughing at the expense of Atlas. It couldn't be helped. This was the man he had associated himself with. Though, he didn't see or respect Gil as a captain. Essentially because Atlas would not subordinate himself under anybody intentionally, but also because of Gil's childlile personality.
Taking a deep breath and exhaling, Atlas leaned against the table the pair were at, and pulled out a cigarette. With a flick of his thumb, Atlas ignited a flame from his lighter and held it to the cigarette. He realized how impatient and reckless he had been acting. From here on out, he would do his best to tone it down. There was no reason for him to be getting so worked up. He needed to stay composed and with a calm mind, focus on the task at hand.
After he had lit his cigarette, he noticed a change in the behavior of their targets as well. Atlas watched unconcerned as two of the five men stood after he had. Did they have a problem with him standing? As they crossed their arms, glaring at him, Atlas shrugged and blew a cloud of smoke from his mouth. He felt the likes of these men were not worth his efforts, so he would not make a movement for them. "Yo. Gil. Do I look like your slave? Get up. I won't be getting my hands dirty for you." Atlas was gritting his own teeth now. Did Gil expect him to go make the first move like a dog? That was not happening.
Looking out of the corner of his eye, he saw Gil make a gesture, invoking the waitress back to their table. Atlas shook his head disdainfully. He listened to the words being spoken to the waitress, coming from Gil. "Oi dumbass, didn't I just tell you you aren't sending me over there like I'm your pet? Get your lazy ass up. You're coming with me." His mind was completely off the subject of the blonde waitress now. He wouldn't be able to conversate normally with her now that Gil had given her an impression of the pair.
Now that the woman had finished listening to the captain, Atlas cringed and wiped his face with two hands. "You see where your immaturity has gotten us? Not that it matters, but if they hadn't figured out we aren't nobles before, they sure as hell know now. Damn idiot." Atlas purposefully puffed smoke into Gil's face. Atlas doubted he would even need to draw even one of his dual blades to deal with these men. Much less use his abilities. It looked as if this group could be beaten by him in a mere fistfight. When he had finished thinking, his ears picked up a voice asking about pirates and a captain. "Eh? Who are you?"

[attr="class","life"] ❝ this is my time to do what I want and i'm probably going to hell [attr="class","les"] G il's golden eyes seemed bored and somewhat oblivious to the entire situation that transpired ever since the white-haired man stood up and barked rather unimpressively at him. He sported a blank, expresionless look on his face and leaned on his open palm as his hand was planted to the table. His eyebrows were slightly raised and his golden eyes beamed nothing but a statement - I DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR GAMES, MISTER. It was the truth. He didn't care about his games nor his overly thuggish demeanor. He accepted him exactly as he was. He wasn't even slightly interested in changing him or making him more 'submissive' or more like a subordinate. No, it wasn't Gil's view on leading a crew. He didn't believe himself to be a ruler. He believed no one should rule over anyone. However, he has believed that people are looking for someone to lead them. Someone to unite behind and someone to follow. Because even though each and every person was an individual and completely unique in their own right, they all are built on an animalistic, primal need for brotherhood. Hence, when he sat there, he didn't feel as if he needed prove himself neither to Ban or to the other highly unimpressive suited folks. The white-haired man pulled out a cigarette and started smoking as he was facing the two large men who were trying to intimidate him by crossing their arms. These two didn't even consider him as a threat. He was scrawny compared to these two giants, who were massively built with arms that looked more like small tree trunks rather than limbs. Given their current position in the Kingdom, though, it was easily suggested that these two were not capable of actually harming someone like Shen. These two decided to approach the duo as Shen finally confirmed their boss' suspicions about their true origins. They were not nobles. They were not even close to nobles. And Gil couldn't help but chuckle and chug yet another considerable portion of his ale as his Nakama barked angrily at him. Gil, in return, has done nothing but stared at the red eyes of his Nakama as the latter exhaled the smoke right into his face. Thinking about his breath for a few moments, he finally reached a conclusion on what to say exactly when the two towered right over them. " Your breath smells of starvation, ale, and cigarettes. No wonder that the waitress chose to walk away" he said calmly and sported a smile that spread from ear to ear. Teasing Shen was probably the thing he enjoyed most at this point in time when these two spent their time at the fancy pub. Before Atlas could even respond, one of them would tap on the latter's shoulder and swiftly moved his huge palm to cover his nape while the other would hold the green-haired man's back shoulder from the other side. " Outta here. Town's gate. Now" they barked in a surprisingly low tone in a perfect sync. These two sounded more like ogres rather than actual people to Gil. However, instead of replying to them he simply smiled and remained seated. He focused his smile at his friend, Shen and wondered how his Nakama is going to respond. The two crewmates have immediately directed their attention to the high feminine voice who asked about pirates, or rather, a CAPTAIN specifically. Gil ignored the grip which held his shoulder and turned around to scan the place for the feminine figure as his large smile was still very much stuck to his face. " Oy, yeah, we're pirates! I'm the Captain, Wolf D. Gil! And that's my buddy, A-" he tried to explain as he felt the grip of the huge man that towered over him was tightened around his shoulder. Why did the large man try to oppose him? In his mind, it was perfectly fine to introduce himself as a pirate! He was glad that someone was interested in learning about pirates. Hence, instead of making the right decision that likely every person would make and shut up about it or just not mention it at all, he simply stopped thinking and allowed his childish personality do the thinking for him. Which was, in this case, practically admitting to be a pirate. Man, this giant - he was a strong folk! He managed to squeeze his shoulder somehow. And, man, his partner seemed equally as powerful, as his grip around the white-haired man's nape tightened as well. Gil noticed the man tightening his grip around his Nakama's nape, and somewhat suddenly changed. An animalistic reflex that was built over years of countless fights kicked in immediately as the FIGHT OR FLIGHT response took over his presence. He faced a choice; whether to stand up and to remove himself and his friend from this place and thus not react directly to the rage that was caused to him by seeing his friend held by the giant, or rather, to FIGHT. Gil was a victim of rage quite often. He knew what it's like to be suddenly held by it when someone or something threatened someone he valued and cared for. He also lost control many times in the past due to that problem, however, countless meditation sessions and mental and physical training along with many experiences of fights caused by this very reason taught him to react to the rage differently. Instead of seeing nothing but darkness and his target in front of him, Gil managed to learn how to channel his rage to raw, true power. His thinking side of the brain decided to leave this particular fistfight to the primitive side of the brain, at least, the part in which he'll have to fight this giant. Hence, it probably wasn't even functioning at the moment, as he simply stood up, surprising even the giant with his sudden explosive strength that rivaled his grip and tightened his own grip around the mug of ale. He took the wooden mug and bashed it against the giant's face, causing the item to break almost instantly on his face - which in return opened a cut on the giant's nose immediately. The green-haired man then proceeded to headbutt him straight in the throat and the sheer force behind his attack sent the giant choking on the ground as the giant next to him was probably occupied by the white-haired man. Gil's face remained calm and collected as his sudden cold gaze was turned at the group of now three men who rushed to rise from their seats, getting ahold of the knives they kept in their pockets while the older one unsheathed a fine sabre. Gil spent no time as he walked directly towards them. Most of the citizens who occupied this place were possessed by shock - all but the bartender who was quick to leave the place and alert the authorities of the event transpiring inside the pub. It was truly an unusual event for this place, and pretty much everyone noticed that these two were definitely not nobles. The waitress was truly surprised to see the green-haired man change so fast, from a carefree, casual man to a cold, ruthless attacker than overpowered a man almost twice his size with simple animalistic reflexes. It was... Unholy, in her royal eyes. She screamed for help as the bartender left the pub in search of help. The bartender along with the woman's scream alerted another 5 men who were outside, aiming to enter the restaurant and sit down to have lunch with the first group of five people. However, their plan to enter the business was suddenly much more important as the bartender quickly explained the situation that was currently happening inside the pub. | [attr="class","goodness"] ✉ ✎ 1,296 words |

Rei wasn't sure how to respond as she approached the young man who had spoken. She spent most of her life in isolation, meaning she wasn't quite sure how to interact with people.
"Um.....I am looking to join a pirate crew, if you don't mind?" she managed to say it
She twiddled her thumbs nervously. What if he perceives her question wrong and blows her off, or does something worse to her?
She saw a large, burly man approach and grab the younger man by the shoulder. Her expression changed into a frown. She may not understand human interactions well, but even she could tell that this man was trouble.
"Do you need some help with that?"

Dawn island, home of the Goa Kingdom. An island where commoner's, nobles, and marines existed together. However, this island had a dark side. Despite living together the citizens were classified among each other into different social status, those who were not part of the kingdom were locked out by a towering wall, beyond this wall is where marines, pirates, and bandits made their home. To those who dared venture into Dawn's island wilderness within the jungle, they would find beauty, unlike one you can discover within the town, the unkept wild greenery that flourished without the need for human vigilance, the lingering scent of rainwater mixed with mildew creating an exotic smell that appealed to the senses. however, this jungle that seemed to be like a self-sustaining ecosystem had all but one rule to its way of life, survival.
From the jungle floor near the back of the forest closest to Dawn's Island Mt.Corvo was a small wooden hut, as the door opened a woman whose body was slightly sun-kissed but held the physique of a warrior would now stand at the open door, her body filled with various scar's with most being on her face and torso area, but the most noticeable factor above all was the woman snow-like hair that was savage looking even at first glance but was tied into several braids that ultimately came from three main ones that were kept in check by spikes crafted by her own hand.
This woman was a Kuja halfling named Arianna. To most of the people of Dawn Island her family used to live in the forest and secluded themselves from their society and two years ago her family suddenly disappeared into the night leaving her behind and she started making a living as a hunter by selling the remains of wild beasts and anything she could find to the townspeople, but the real truth was that Arianna herself had disposed of all her family members and now lived in the hut alone in her own peaceful slice of heaven.
Today Arianna woke up with one thing on her mind, to hunt one of the larger animals that roamed the forest, a tiger, but this wasn't any tiger. This specific beast had been making a mockery of Arianna for nearly a month by taking advantage of her traps and reaping the rewards of her catches. To the female hunter, this was a taunt worthy of action, this made the tiger her prey.
Last night Arianna had set up a baited trap she knew the tiger couldn't resist, the delicious fresh meat of a grown female deer that she had managed to slip through the tiger's claws. Arianna quickly made her way to where she laid the trap out, she was imagining how the tiger helplessly tried to set itself free only to fail and fail again, she nearly chuckled at the thought of it seeing her face knowing that the hunter has now become prey to what she was sure the tiger believed her to be an "easy target" to steal from to preserve their own life. However as she neared the trap location she started to hear voice's and the roaring of the same tiger she wanted for herself, Arianna quickly used her sharp nails to dig into the tree climbing upwards to get a higher viewpoint, the first thing she would see is two-man dressed finely in what she has come to know as the type of attire noble men and women liked to garn themselves in as if to emphasize they had more wealth than most of the common folk rummaging around the town. Arianna herself never cared much for the on-goings of the noble's affairs however she hated them with a passion as they lazily brought their foods from markets that someone worked hard to provide an even further more flaunted their wealth that most of them had barely lifted a finger for as most nobles were simply nobles by birthright and not something they themselves had worked their lives for, but what made Arianna mad the most is that they were leading her prey into a vehicle as they used a neck choker to lead her tiger inside, she was enraged like none other before, the tiger could wait as she now wanted to deal with these two men and teach them lesson about messing with a hunters catch.
Arianna knew exactly what to do, she would focus her breathing and surely she started to shrink as her arms turned into wings and her legs turned into that of a bird before she had become a small Pitohui songbird, this was not an innate ability Arianna possessed but rather what others would call the "curse of the sea" she had obtained by eating a fruit that looked like an enlarged black mango with spiral orange patterns around its surface that had tasted terrible, but by the next day she awoke as a small bird within her hut. She quickly learned that she was now what others called a devil fruit user by venturing into town and asking subtle questions, and upon her return experimented with her new ability discovering she could now switch between human and animal form and a third form she herself had only been in once, the ability to transform was new to her but it had its perks especially when she needed to maintain a low profile and sneak around as she needed to right now. Now a tiny bird Arianna jumped off her branch and started to flap her wings taking flight and catching up with the noble's vehicle before sitting on top of it's hood, if she wanted too she could attack them right now but if anybody knew where they were headed and they suddenly disappeared, word would catch quick that she was the only one living in the forest putting suspicion on her, if she was to attack them she would do so in another location without risking her peaceful home.
As the vehicle drove Arianna simply did what any songbird did and chirped every so often to play her role, every now and then she would hear the men in the car acknowledge her existence but they ultimately did nothing to make her go away. Upon reaching a large gate that everyone knew as the gray terminal that kept bandits and pirate's out the vehicle was investigated by a couple of guards, they swept their hands over the hood and Arianna who already guessed they were making their way inside the city took flight and flown over the wall straight into a dark alley and transformed back into her human form. As she watched the vehicle pass by her Arianna walked out of the alleyway and followed behind simply walking, she got strange looks from commoners but didn't mind or care as she was a hunter stalking its prey and they didn't even know it. It wouldn't take long before the two men stopped their vehicle and walked inside a bar, after waiting for a few minutes herself Arianna walked in as well and seeing the two men making confrontation with other men as she took a seat at the bar and flipped a gold piece for a drink as she watched from the corner of her eye. It didn't take long for everything to go to shit as one of the men was knocked out, the two men seemed to be at odds despite sitting at the same table, and a small girl appeared talking about pirate's and joining a crew, if Arianna had been her for fun she would burst a gut laughing at the scene playing out before her but right now she was on business.
It took a few minutes but after seeing his friend fall the second noblemen lifted his fist and aimed it for one of the men sitting at the table, Arianna didn't know what type of business they had with them but she had words for the man first. Finishing her drink she then turned around and throw it directly towards the man skull causing it to shatter upon impact as the men lost his balance before turning his attention to Arianna who simply swived her chair around looking directly at them, enraged by her actions he walked his way up to her with his fist raised before throwing it at her, Arianna simply caught it in her hand and used her left leg to kick the man's lower leg causing him to kneel before headbutting him and knocking him out. She then chuckled before turning around and looking at a case of rum and dropping a heap of coins and simply reached for the bottle before walking out the bar now satisfied.

[attr="class","life"] ❝ this is my time to do what I want and i'm probably going to hell [attr="class","les"] T he green-haired man was smiling at the blue-haired teenager as she asked whether or not it was okay for her to join the crew. Well, there was no problem! But, she needed to prove herself, of course! So, well, the only thing left to ask her now is to prove herself. And, well, she kind-of proposed it herself - asking if he needed any help. Gil nodded at her and tapped her shoulder, smiling at her warmly as the mountain of a man was lying on the floor next to where he was standing. " See the group of five men, there? You are taking them on. If you wanna join, you better succeed!" Gil said and motioned towards the group which now entered the bar after the bartender explained the situation to them. Gil winked at her once again as he was still keeping his smile and was traveling towards the group of five men that remained in the bar originally. He then glanced to his right, where Atlas has previously stood before he had to leave towards the restroom, and saw the second large man being punched by a woman and being dropped right to the floor. Damn, boy! It was a hard hit. Gil would've probably get a concussion from it as well! Who was that lady?! She was relatively tall and was pretty good-looking! Plus, she wasn't a noble. That's for sure. Gil smiled at her warmly and clapped his hands before he moved on towards the group of five men, winking at her during his walk there. One of the men pulled out a gun and aimed it at the green-haired man. Gil, who was standing 10 meters away from him or so, has seen him drawing out the gun and was quick to flip a table and find cover behind it. The sound of shots fired echoed through the room! Damn, boy! They meant business. The table Gil was hiding behind was full of bullet holes and it was clear to Gil that he needed to find a way to beat them, quick. Gil reached the conclusion that against them, it would be better if he'd play a little dirty. He picked up the table and used it as a shield shortly after the 'leader' of this group ran out of bullets and motioned to reload his pistol. He bumped into him and dropped him on the floor, knocking him out by ramming the table against his skull powerfully. One of these three pulled out a knife and motioned to stab Gil while the third was quick to grab his unconscious partner's gun and attempt to reload it. Gil managed to see the knife coming and grabbed the man's arm as he bit it and dove right into the floor. The man has let go of the knife and yelled in pain exactly when Gil flipped him over and used him as a human shield to the guy who was reloading the gun. The guy being used as a human shield was suddenly lifted up by Gil and was thrown right at his partner who now finished reloading his gun. The two fell on the floor and Gil used the chance to pull out two of the wooden table's legs and bash them against their heads until they lost consciousness. He then glanced right towards the group that was entering the bar and saw the blue-haired woman engaging with them. Positioned exactly above one of the five men who now entered the bar, was a chandelier. It was about 1 x 1 meters in length and width and weighed well over 300 lbs. It was positioned about a meter above the tall guy who entered the bar and assuming Gil would choose to drop it, it would more than likely take him out of the fight. He motioned for the gun and shoot the chain that connected the chandelier to the sealing - it was about 7 meters away from him. It took him 4 shots to nail it, but eventually, he somehow managed to drop it down on the man's head. The man dove right into the floor like a swimmer preparing for a contest and Gil sprinted towards the teenager, hoping to make sure she wouldn't get in unnecessary trouble. True, it was her test - however, even if she wouldn't pass it, it doesn't mean she needs to get into trouble with these guys because of him. So he wanted to make sure she survives it, at the very least. The group of now four men all looked at Gil as two of them pulled out pistols and the remaining two pulled out their swords. They were all around 5'10"-6'0" and weighed somewhere around 200 lbs, roughly. Some of them were chubby while some were a bit more lean and muscular. However, everyone sported a mean look in their eyes - one that was ready to kill. Gil knew that these ' boys' were looking for revenge. Revenge for what he has done to 6 of their friends. Perhaps he even managed to kill the last one who got a chandelier to the head by a mistake? Who knows. Well, he will, shortly. But they'll figure it out soon. The blue-haired teenager had an opportunity - they were all focused on Gil. They didn't pay attention to her, a slim teenager. This was her golden chance to beat them if she wanted to. If not, well, Gil would take care of it on his own. By one way or another. And man, Atlas is gone exactly when he wanted to see him fight! Hopefully, he hasn't bailed on them. He was a good fighter, the white-haired boy. The reason Gil started this fight with them was primarily him. He wanted to see him fighting again. And, well, because they grabbed him, his friend, by the shoulder and demanded they'd leave the place. Ha-ha! Very amusing. But Gil wouldn't take orders from anyone! Even from these nobles, or rather, these nobles' dogs. That's probably all they were and all they would ever be. Some would be slightly more important, some would be slightly less. But they're all eventually just dogs, dogs of society. Dogs of the noble and royal citizens of this kingdom. Man, this day just started and it's already too interesting! | [attr="class","goodness"] ✉ ✎ 1,054 words |

Here we go on the road. The only road that he's ever known. So here he goes again on his own. Well, it was hard to call it a road. It was the ocean. ANd that ocean spanned out in all directions at once. Infinitesimally at that. So, this road was more of a metaphor, he thought to himself, while standing on the edge of the bow, hands placed against the railing while he saw the Dawn Island coming in to view. Hood blown back by the trade winds, hair bellowing in the breeze, red eyes locked on that island. Maybe here, maybe here he could get a start of his adventure. A wide smile upon his face while he watched the island draw ever closer. The men on the deck moving back and forth to prepare the ship for docking procedures. He had hitched a ride with some, let's say, less than reputable merchants, to get out of the North Blue and come here to the East Blue. Sure it was a hectic journey. It was rather annoying to have to go through the Red Line and Reverse Mountain just to go back down a waterfall that goes upward, as funny as that sounds, and wind up in what is considered the weakest sea in the world, but that was fine, it gave the marines hunting him for the time being the slip, though the dissidence from the crew on board the vessel he booked passage on were less than enthused about harboring what they thought was a fugitive. On the contrary, Willow Omens wasn't a fugitive. Well, not in the sense of breaking the law. His dad just wanted him home, and his dear old dad was more than happy to spend beli to bring back his favorite bargaining chip for the bid of climbing the social ladder. That was the main reason he was a fugitive from home: he'd rather see the world than sit at home with girl after girl being brought in from different families so he could be shown to them like he was a piece of meat to buy. The thought just irked him. His ecstatic face turned in to a scowl, one of Willow's famous mood swings as he thought about his father, Ashcroft, and the way he was always there not as a son to a father, but as a pawn in a game of chess on that great goal to become a Celestial Dragon. No, Willow wouldn't have that. He wanted to explore the world, write a book, then maybe settle down after he finally got bored, if he got bored, would he get bored? He hoped he wouldn't get bored. Why was he thinking about why he would get bored? He smacked himself in the forehead with the heel of his palm to knock some sense back in to himself, shaking his head left and right to get those cheeks flapping before he got back to his old self. The one that looked forward to the next adventure on this island, Dawn Island, home of the Goa Kingdom. As they came in to the docks, it was smooth sailing. But the moment the gangplank hit the wood of the walkway leading in to the island, the captain of the boat came to talk to Willow. Willow turned around, resting on the heels of his feet and hands. feet on the deck, hands on the banister to prevent people from leaning off of the ship. "Alright lad, I hate to do this. You're entertaining and all. And you know how to keep the men distracted with all your stories and joke's, but that alone isn't going to make up for the FIVE TIMES we were shot at by bounty hunters and marines just for having you on board. So I'm gonna have to ask you to pay up four times more than what you offered us to get you here. Alright lad?" The burly man with a wider belly than he had shoulders was stroking his beard, eager to extort money out of someone who gave him a hassle. That someone just went from being a smiling mess to someone with a half-glazed half-lidded eye stare at the captain while his smile drooped downward. "Oh right. Let me just get it out for you then." Was it that easy? It couldn't have been that easy could it? The captain was about to make an extra forty million beli off of one person just for the trouble he caused? Well, you know what they say captain LardBelly, nothing in life is free without effort, or some shit like that. Willow twisted and turned, digging in this pocket, and then in that pocket. He had to find something. Anything, he was certainly making a theatrical production out of it. From being stood up on his own too feet to turning his back to the captain while he patted himself as is searching for a wallet, he seemed to be stalling! And just as the captain was catching on to this, Elias pushed up on the banister railing, and performed a handstand, vaulting over on to the stem of the ship, where he ran to the very tip and jumped off of it, landing on a fish seller's tarp that covered his stall! "Hey! Get your ass back here! Alright boys, the punk's off the boat, he's not our problem anymore. But he's our problem in that you all want him to pay for the trouble he's caused right? So let's go get him! Hey?!" Lardbelly shouted before he would take a detachment of seven men with him in to the docks, where Willow was already making a mad dash through to get to the entrance of the Goa Kingdom. He could easily break in thanks to his name, the guards there must know the name of Omens at least. Sure they did, and if they didn't? Well, what's one more detachment of heavily armed men chasing after him? It was like a one track note playing over and over on every island! But still, this was a new chance. Maybe, just maybe, he could find someone to tag along with that wouldn't hate his guts for being nobility, or someone that wouldn't expect him to pay to ride on the boat, or hell, maybe even someone that would welcome him along their journey! Only time would tell today. And today was going to be a rather hectic day. Just as he thought when he got to the gates, the armed guards seemed to recognize him, but didn't want to let him through without some paperwork. Instead, He just rolled his eyes and utilized Leerer Sprung, a move of his that let him leap upwards and kick off of one of the guards' helms and run along the wall of the arched gateway in to the kingdom, "Sorry 'bout that chap! I'll give ya some dosh for it later!" He shouted just as Lardbelly and his crew came pushing in past the guards in one swift motion. As Willow landed on the ground he was off running for his life, again. Oh how he wished he could run in to someone that would provide him with some sort of recluse. Maybe someone to team up with. Only time would tell on this very, very hectic day for the Runaway Writer. WC:1241

"I'll try." Rei promised If she were honest with herself, she didn't know much about fighting, but she wanted to join a pirate crew and experience the wonders of the world with them. And if it meant fighting, so be it. Now all she had to do was figure out how to defeat those men. A glass bottle sitting on the counter gave her an idea. She made her way to the counter and took the bottle off it. She used her hands in conjunction with the water from the bottle to land a punch at one of the five men she was supposed to defeat, followed by water-empowered kick. Then she turned her attention to the other four men. They seemed a bit tougher. As she began to think how she would be able to defeat them too, her thoughts drifted back to her childhood. Her siblings often sparred with one another, both to get stronger and to pass the time, and she often watched them as they sparred. Because she was a girl, she wasn't allowed to spar with them. She wished she could, but the customs prevented her from doing so. She should have been more assertive, she realized that now. Fighting seemed the norm in most of the world from what she saw, and those who didn't know it were left behind in the dust. Her dream of seeing the world couldn't be fulfilled if she didn't figure out some more techniques to use and fast. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Move used Water punch Rank: Rookie Type: Attack Range: 25 meters diameter Requirements and Drawbacks: Rei must have access to water to perform this move Cooldown: 1 post Stamina Cost: 10 Description: This move allows Rei to attack her enemies with pressurized water, using her palm to deal the blow to her opponent(s).

[attr="class","life"] ❝ this is my time to do what I want and i'm probably going to hell [attr="class","les"] A 6'1" man suddenly fell on the floor - a direct result of receiving a water-empowered punch to the head, along with a a kick. Gil watched the blue-haired teenager as he came near the group of now 3 men and whistled - " OOOOOOOOOOOOH!" he loudly called in excitement. He didn't expect the blue-haired woman to be so creative! And, man, what the hell was that ability of her suddenly being able to coat her limbs with water? It was insane! He has never seen anything quite like it! However, even while she proved herself interesting and capable to Gil, he still couldn't help wanting to protect her if need be. It's not because she was younger than him or anything - oh no, Gil never minded people's age. He judged them by their character, not by their age or appearance, and certainly not by their race, sex or gender. But rather, because she seemed like someone who was strange to fighting with others. Something about her... Something about her seemed different. Such was the green-haired man, ever since he was a child. He was raised to judge people by their character. It was such a rare trait in the world he has grown up in - a world full of criticism, hate and different ranks in society. It is a crazy world to grow up in - and in such a world, at least one person has to remain just, proud and loyal to their beliefs - and one of these men is Gil. Gil didn't want to step into the fight immediately. He wanted to test the woman a little longer - to see if she was capable of defeating these 3 thugs by herself. He was there to ensure nothing would happen to her. The men then turned around and eyed the blue-haired girl - they shifted their attention from Gil to her. One of them, standing at 6'3" and weighing well over 250 lbs, eyed the broken glass shards on the floor and his friend's bloody head and then stared straight at the woman. He pulled out his pistol and loaded it quickly - while his two friends who answered the same physical description as him followed his lead and unsheathed their weapons as well - one of them unsheathed a saber while another one pulled out a pair of brass knuckles. The weapons were well crafted - clearly implying that these men were paid well and hired by wealthy people. Most of them were decorated with gold and certain parts were even coated with obsidian. The man with the brass knuckles shifted his attention to Gil who stood a few meters away from them. He gritted his teeth and sprinted at him. He was enraged. And, well, he had a good reason to be mad at him. Gil pretty much ended his friend's career by dropping the chandelier on his head. The man was possessed with anger. His primitive side of the brain took over - he wasn't even thinking. His body acted on its own - he pulled out the knuckles and sprinted at Gil, aiming to do the same thing Gil has done to his friend, to him. Which is - to end his fighting career right here and now. Gil, in response, hasn't even flinched. The man closed the distance between them swiftly and quickly and grabbed a glass bottle of rum, aiming to break it on Gil's head while his other hand was clenched into a fist, empowered by the brass knuckles, and was aimed at Gil's throat. Gil sharply reached out his arms - his left hand tightly gripped the man's right arm, while his right hand took hold of his enemy's left hand. He held it tightly and chuckeled. " That's it, big fella'? That's all you think it'd take to finish me off?" he said and pushed the man to the edge, a little bit further. The man roared and attempted to launch a headbutt. However, Gil already sent his knee to the man's groin, causing him to let out a loud cry of pain. As the man lost his balance, Gil tilted his body and threw him on the ground, using the man's bodyweight against him. Now, it was the blue-haired teenager's job to take care of the remaining two!
One of the guards at posted at the gates of the port leading to the Goa Kingdom was suddenly alerted by a swift kick to his helmet! Man, was this unexpected! The man who was rushing towards the entrance earlier indeed seemed a little bit quirky, but aggressive? No, not so much. The sheer force of the attack in conjunction with the sheer quality of the metal that composed the helmet bouncing against the man's skull was enough to send him to a deep sleep. His partner quickly unsheathed his saber in an impressive, swift motion - one that was honed throughout years of practice and sheer anticipation for such a moment, where he would get to finally use it! However, the guard's hopes were crushed quite overwhelmingly as the pirates who were chasing after the boy crushed into him and dropped him into the ground, caring little about his status or position as a royal guard of the Goa Kingdom. Hm! Hersey! However, the guard wasn't knocked out. Oh no. Unlike his friend, at least. He was very much conscious and aware of the presence of both the boy and the group of men that chased after him. Enraged by their actions, he roared! " INVASION!" He repeated a few times. He then quickly pulled out his den-den mushi as he was chasing after the men. The device was connected to the headquarters of the city. And there, he would call for the assistance of the guards and marines. " A large group of men infiltrated the city! They are chasing after a boy of short height and 120 lbs! He seems like a noble and wears a short-sleeved hooded jacket! They assaulted Jack and me. Intruders on the eastern port-gate! They are headed into the central part of the Kingdom!" he yelled into the device. " On our way, Sergeant Moe" a low voice sharply commented. The headquarters were relatively close to the port, and it wouldn't take long before a large group of men would chase after the pirates. Willow and the pirates wouldn't have much time and room to escape! Exactly as the group of pirates chased after Willow, a nearby group of marines was alerted by the guard's call as well. They quickly noticed who the culprits were and prepared to fire at them from ahead - they stood 15 meters away from Willow and numbered 5 men. They had two marksmen who were quickly loading long barrel rifles along with 3 swordsmen who wielded pistols, however, they preferred to unsheath their sabers instead of using their pistols. " FIRE!!!" one of them shouted - a short man, standing 5'6 and weighing 150 lbs or so. He seemed like the more experienced member of this group, and given he gave the order, he was probably higher ranked. | [attr="class","goodness"] ✉ ✎ 1,171 words |

As Arianna walked out of the bar where there seemed to be an ongoing fight between pirate's was happening she was more than pleased with herself. Not only was the tiger that had been getting free meals off her traps was now far from the reaches of the jungle, but he was captured by a pair of man finely dressed which she had no doubt were either nobles or man selling fine clothing to nobles, the thought of the tiger being skinned alive or worst brought tears of joy to her eyes. Unfortunately, at the time the fact she wouldn't have been able to eat the tiger herself made her very angry to the point she hunted down the man all the way to the town just so she could teach them a lesson seemed to consume her, it seemed to pay off in the as not only did both man end up getting their lights knocked out of them but she had also procured a nice bottle of rum that she fully intended to use for her own self-achievements.
With a wide grin that seemed to lightly crinkle the corner of her mouth area, Arinna proceeded to use her right thumbnail that was sharpened into claws to pop the bottle open in which caused fizz to escape from top, Arianna didn't hesitate to attach her lips to to large bottle and start drinking its contents filling her gut with the refined taste of liquor. When she finally parted her lips from the bottle, she gasped for air in utter satisfaction with an even wider grin then earlier as her face slightly flushed from the heat of the liquor now flowing through her system. If there was anything Arianna enjoyed more than a good fight or hunting, it was a fine bottle of liquor to make her motor start revving.
Well, it was fun but Arianna now in her partial drunken state wanted nothing more than to return back to her home in the jungle and relax on her bed and continue drinking to her victory before ultimately letting the liquor in her system ride out until she fell asleep. With her mind made up she begun to walk towards the exit to the town, it was easier to get out of the city rather than to get in which was a blessing since there was no way her zoan form could carry the large bottle with any amount of grip. From the distance, she could see a boy running towards her being pursued by a group of man, surely any good hearted person would have helped the boy but Arianna was not that type of person, as the boy passed she simply moved out of the way making space for what she could only assume pirate's chasing after him for something he did to them but upon the pirates passing despite Arianna leaving space for them to pass her without trouble one of them who had a particularly large gut grabbed the bottle of rum right out of her hand and drunks from its contents savoring the taste before ultimately throwing it against a passing building causing it to shatter and it's delicious liquid splattering across the ground.
For a second Arianna stopped breathing, her hand outreached for the bottle as if on reflex but it was beyond her reach and watching it's content now spilled upon the ground put her in a frozen like pose as her body slightly trembled from the shock of it all. But her shock quickly turned into utter rage, how dare they just take the bottle she rightfully paid for and drink from it just to dispose of it as if it was their own, they needed to pay, they needed to be hunted down. Arianna quickly headed straight first into a dark alleyway before beginning her transformation, first her arms would shrink and grow feathers as they become wings, her body following the same pattern as it became smaller and feathers started to grow around her whole body, her legs lengthened as her toes disappeared replaced by three long ones and her toenails grow and sharpened into talons. Now the size of a small songbird it was time for Arianna to hunt, she quickly flapped her small wings soaring upwards into the sky before using her new view to quickly locate the pirate's, she wasted no time in soaring through the sky straight towards them however there was a problem, not far in front of the boy five marines were gathered and although each of them held ranged weaponry the two she was most worried about were the rifleman.
Whatever the boy did to get himself in this situation Arianna had no idea, but she was in no mood to see someone who looked about her age if not younger get shot to death in the line of fire, it would be a close call but Arianna felt the need to at least help him out. Arianna slowed down the speed of her flight as she paid attention to the two riflemen as they put their hands on the trigger waiting for the boy to lure the pirate's closer, just as she saw them put their fingers on the trigger and heard a man yell "Fire!" she started flapping her wings to her maximum speed as she yelled out from above to the boy "I'll change it to get out of the way!" at the same time marine's fired upon the pirate group. As the marine's fired Arianna choose another two marine's that wielded sabers as her targets, while at full speed she slightly turned her body so as she flew by the marines the tip of her beak would scratch their eyeballs as she passed two of the saber wielders and the gunners for a total of four-man, with her small size and speed they would see no more than a blur as they hadn't spotted her before that, and the first degree like symptoms would blind and distract them as they dealt with the pain coursing through them while the last remaining marine would be shocked by his squads sudden cries of anguish.
Arianna would circle back around and land on the boy's shoulder's and whisper into his ear although he might be slightly confused, "Keep running up ahead, there is an alleyway on your immediate right that connects to others where you can escape too."
