"I just can't agree with you. . ."
Full Name: Walker, Isabelle
Alias/Nickname: Izzy
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: Twenty-Two
Faction: Marine
Appearance: Isabelle stands firm at 5'7" with a firm and lean body resulted from years of training in the Marine Corps. Though she could be considered skinny with her height and weighing at 125 lbs, she is able to fill out her frame well without looking either too thin or too bulky. Also, with the help of her Marine uniform, her figure is able to look more feminine than what others would expect.
Color of fallen leaves in autumn, Isabelle's hair fell softly down her back, reaching her waist. However, on the job, she prefers to either tie it up in a high ponytail or to form it into a bun on her head instead of letting it loose around her shoulders. Despite her arched brows matching the color of her hair, her eyelashes that framed her almond eyes were a bit darker, almost bordering on black, which made the individual lashes pop against her ever-so-lightly sun kissed skin. For her eyes, their color matched a bright summer sky - light blue without a spec of imperfection.
Though Isabelle doesn't use any type of perfume, thanks to her shampoo, anyone within half a meter of her is able to pick up the fragrance of grapefruit lingering to the strands of her hair.
Isabelle's has modified the pants of her Marine uniform to be a bit more form fitting, choosing to forgo the baggy navy pants for a pair of flexible leggings that clung to her legs, along with the standard Marine shirt. On her days off, she's frequently caught in a baggy shirt that reaches down to her mid thigh, along with plain colored leggings that were made from the same material as her uniform.
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Light Blue
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 125 lbs
Personality: Isabelle has an outgoing personality that has her approaching strangers without much difficulty. Even though she seems flexible and open to everyone's views and suggestions, she is actually quite stubborn in her own values and beliefs, and is very difficult to be deterred from her path once she decides on something. So she often finds herself in a predicament where she has a lot of people she knows and gets along with, but only has a handful of people that tolerate her hard-headed personality and remains to stick by her whether they agree with her outlooks on life or not. Though she may drift from one group to another, Isabelle finds that the handful of people are the only ones she felt comfortable in calling a friend.
As a leader, Izzy seems to do a good job whenever she chooses to fulfill the role. However, this is rare as she prefers to work by herself to avoid any type of conflict within the team that she would inevitably cause. When she does choose to be a leader, she is able to put the team's needs and wants above her own despite how it creates a conflict within herself. This tells us that though she may come off as obstinate sometimes, once she decides to commit to something, she'll give it her all.
It's also very rare to see Isabelle angry as she tends to shrug off most people's attacks towards her. However, once she snaps, nothing seems to be able to calm her down. Even if someone unrelated to the argument tries to intercept, she finds herself lashing out at them, fully well knowing that they had nothing to do with the situation. Once things reach this level, the only thing the people around her can do is to give her time to herself to calm down and get her thoughts back in order.
Also, though she may seem very social and talkative, she never talks about her own emotions - especially from the hardest aspects of her life that she's had to struggle through. She displays emotions fairly well, but when she is put on the spot to talk about the lows of her life, she often finds herself lost for words, unable to voice how she'd made it through the hardship. Realizing this, she's chosen to avoid certain situations where she'd have to share such depressing stories about her journey.

History: Born in a humble household twenty three years ago, Isabelle's parents were like any other couple, living on a small island who'd been lucky enough to give birth to a healthy girl just a couple weeks ago. They lived in a small cabin on the outskirts of the island, isolated from the small town that was located further inland. Her parents had been working at a tavern located on the edge of town closest to their house after moving to the island five or so years beforehand.
The day like was any other. Blue skies and cool breezes running through the open windows of the cabin while baby Isabelle slept peacefully in the cabin with her mother going about her daily chores, checking up on her daughter every so often. In midst of preparing the ingredients, a deafening sound sliced through the peaceful air, causing the woman to drop her spoon into the pot of soup she'd been seasoning. A quick glance at her baby assured her that Isabelle hadn't been stirred from her nap. Before she had a chance to wonder what the noise had been, a young woman with blood trailing down the side of her arm rushed in through the door, almost collapsing after tripping over the door frame.
From the woman, Amy gathered that the pirates had started a fight in the bar where her husband was working and that the new woman's own husband had been killed in the fight. Being a woman of action, Isabelle's mother gathered up the firearms in the house in the shortest time possible before leaving the sleeping baby behind in the cabin alone and marching into battle.
That was the last time the Walker couple was seen on the island.
Isabelle was found, still crying despite her voice breaking painfully, by a group of patrolling marines that had been called to the island to help drive the pirates away. A considerate marine had gathered up the baby along with a few essentials, a rabbit plush toy, and a couple pictures of her and her parents. Though she didn't know his face or name, she was still grateful as it was the only thing that she had from the years of her past that she had no recollection of.
She was soon adopted by a middle-aged couple who didn't have any children of their own. They had worked for the government, though not in a rank of any importance, but they had still believed in the Government and their works, which is why they raised Isabelle to have the same strong beliefs. Once she was old enough to have the "you're adopted" talk with her parents, and she learnt that her biological parents had been killed by pirates, it only strengthened the values and beliefs she'd been raised in.
As she grew older, and came to an age where she'd have to think about the future, Isabelle came to a conclusion that she wanted to work for the Government as well. However, unlike a small, office job that her parents were doing, she wanted to be out in the field. Though her parents were against it at first, they reluctantly agreed to let her walk the path she'd decided - as long as she went and learnt ways of protecting herself from a good friend of her father's. Though she thought it was unnecessary at the time, she had agreed.
Her father's friend turned out to be a retired Cipher Pol agent who was quite skilled at Rokushiki. Over the span of five years, she'd learnt the basics of the Rokushiki fighting style, though she had yet to pick one to focus on and specialize. However, knowing even the basics of each helped put her parents' minds at ease, as she signed up with the marines at the age of twenty-one.
And for the past seven months, she'd slowly accustomed to her new lifestyles within the Marines.
She had no idea what kind of adventure was waiting for her out on the sea, past the horizon, but Isabelle could honestly say that no matter what it was, she was looking forward to it.

Likes:
- EXERCISE: Isabelle is one of those people that find joy in physical exhaustion as she believes that the burn in her limbs is proof of her hard work.
- ALCOHOL: Having a somewhat high tolerance for alcohol, she is able to keep up with the men in her crew with how much she drinks. However, she also enjoys having a drink or two just when she's relaxing on her days off.
- RAIN: Preferring the clouds in the sky to the sun, Isabelle loves it when it rains. The sound of it on the deck as well as the feel of it falling on her skin is one of her favorite things ever since she was a child.
- FRUITS: Due to having a lot of sweet things as a child, Isabelle has random cravings for sweets even as an adult. To avoid gaining weight and losing the progress she'd made with her figure, she chooses to snack on fruits, which she'd realizes she really enjoys eating no matter the time or place.
Dislikes:
- PRETENSES: As a straight-forward person that tries her best to be truthful at all times, with the exception of a white lie here and there, Isabelle finds herself distancing from those that put up too much of a front.
- PIRATES: Though she has no recollection of it, her parents had been killed when she was merely a kid. Afterwards, she'd grown up with foster parents that had worked for the Government, which had shaped her prejudice against the pirates from a very young age.
- CHILDREN: Isabelle has difficulty when dealing with children as she is unable to match her pace with the children's own. She also is not a big fan of giving the children leeway just because of their inexperience that comes with their age - which leads her to treat the children with the same attitude as how she'd treat her coworkers. So despite being a friendly person, kids and her seem to have a mutual understanding to not bother one another.
