Saimintoryu
Category: Sharp Theme: Hypnosis Special Effect: Illusions Bonus: +1 speed bonus per move Saimintoryu is versatile sword style using hypnotic movements and sword vibrations to cause varies visual and auditory illusions.
Rookie Style: The user can barely use one technique of Saimintoryu without tiring themselves. Generating any illusions from their sword is impossible due to the strain on the user's body. The user can attack in strange patterns using enhanced speed but nothing noteworthy. Junior Style: At this level, the user's swordsmanship looks oddly hypnotic with small trails of afterimages behind the user's movements. However, the afterimages are simply a trick using light, vibrations of the sword, and fluid movements. A similar technique to Kami-e allows the user to act like paper and dodge dangerous strikes with some help from the afterimages. Journeyman Style: Saimintoryu has progressed to allow for afterimages to linger longer and farther from the user, forming mimicking clones if enough effort is put into the tricky swordsmanship. A technique similar to Soru allows the user to increase their speed and litter an area with afterimages which hide the user and allow for precision sword strikes. Expert Style: The user's hypnotic swordsmanship has increased to the point where afterimage-clones are visually and aurally indistinguishable from the user with the help of special technique combinations and further understanding of trickery. An explosion of emotions might further elevate the versatility of the illusions if given the right push. Master Style: The use of a technique similar to Geppou allows for three dimensional maneuvers, increasing the area in which illusions are possible. Special technique combinations allow for a large range of versatility with Saimintoryu generated illusions. The opponent might be overwhelmed by these visual and auditory illusions, allowing for swift, precise, and deadly strikes of the sword.

I can neither deny nor approve your application. This is merely a review.
Let's start with the bonus. If you're going with illusions, that is going to be your bonus. This is extremely potent as it is currently. Remove the speed, please. Your special effect could be an illusion of an element.
This next note applies to all the descriptions of the various ranks. You once again describe an ability and not a move. In order to acquire these abilities that you mentioned, they should be listed as moves. Please edit that.
Additionally, I'd like you to choose between expansion and skill for each rank. If you're going with the expansion of the range of the illusions, the potency of the illusions must be decreased. And, again, every ability listed here should be listed as a move.
Junior Style: Again, this ability must come under a move.
Journeyman Style: "Gains access to illusions that are able to change the environment in the target's mind". Please edit it to match what I suggested here. Additionally, the user would only be able to target one sense at a time, still. The trigger of the illusion which is a move still not be something that could apply to a basic move, it would take time and preparation. If you want a simple trigger, make sure the illusions are simple as well. Pain needed to break out of this illusion: 2 basic attacks. These illusions are extremely potent as they are currently. They are pretty much OP in my eyes. Hence I'd like you to lower the required damage in order to break out from them.
Change the illusion duration to 2 posts duration for this level, please.
Expert Style: How many people at the same time exactly? The maximum would be 3, and the third one would be affected by 0.3333% of the actual potency of the original illusion, which would also be a move. In other words, for each person that this illusion affects, the potency of it decreases in a 1/3.
Pain needed to break out - 1 Rookie attack if you go with potency. 4 basic attacks if you go with range.
Change the illusion duration to 3 posts duration for this level, please.
Master Style: What do you mean by "Sword strikes are able to fade in and out of illusions"? I'd like a literal yet specific description of this. Also, if you're going with the range instead of potency, the trigger will not be instant, it will require setup and a lot of stamina. Make the falling sleep thingy two ranks under the player's own rank and it would require you to choose potency over range. If you would choose range, you'd not be able to access this ability. Pain needed to break out from the illusion - 1 Junior attack if you're going with potency and 1 rookie attack if you're going with range. And I am confused, why do Haki users who aren't Master-ranked have a hard time? Please, explain it to me. Illusions also will not occur on the same post if you're going with range, it would require a 1 post setup.
Change the illusion duration to 3 posts duration for this level, please.

-It will fit under a move, but also said no need to worry about just describe what the style does and now. -sword strikes fading in and out of illusions just shows how potent the swordmanhip is at this level. Also can't go to into detail since we limited to few sentences -Also note that even at master levels my illusions never become real and inflict no kind of harm toward the person. So I don't see why it can't be instant at master levels. -Also a Bonus and special effect are two diff things. -Or instead of a Bonus toward me how about a debuff toward the target, another thing I didn't put on my illusions. -Edited as well

Staff discussion led me to decide that this fighting style will not pass. You combine both exceptionally powerful swordsmanship and unavoidable illusions. A Devil Fruit that has the user gaining access to illusions might be applied, though. So either change it to a swordsmanship style or apply a Devil Fruit.

Bellow is what you are allows to have as an "illusory swordsmanship" Style. If you feel this isn't enough and want to use a Devil Fruit instead, just know a Devil Fruit is under similar restrictions. Saimintoryu
