Personality: Hayato is a very calm and reserved person who keeps to himself. He prefers to avoid conflict unless the other person does something he believes is wrong or sinful. He enjoys being around people with lively personalities to contrast his own.He would himself in dangerous situations to save someone he knows even if it could cost him his life. He looks up to people who enforce justice unto criminals. He is very traditional person and prefers things that are like the place he's from. He absolutely despises pirates and what they stand for. The main thing he does is practice swordplay to protect himself and protect the people he cares about. He dislikes the prospect of him being too weak to protect people from pirates. He really enjoys the little things in life and has many little hobbies when not training including fishing and hunting. Hayato rarely makes friends mainly because of his nature but when he does he will just about do anything to help them out. Hayato even with his disliking of pirates avoids killing most of them usually using a blunt blade to avoid their death then turning them in to prison and only uses sharp blades for the worst of the worst and avoids guns for the same reason.

History: Hayato was born into a family of bakers out on a small island which relied heavily on the people.He grew up respecting the marines but wanted to be a sword master for his whole child hood and would run around the town swinging sticks around. When he was 12 a old drunken man went into town square and started yelling at the nearby people that if they didnt give him a absurd amount of beli he would burn the village to the ground no one gave him any mind he was wasted beyond compare he left the village on a small ship people were pretty sure he stole.Around 2 years have passed since the incedent no one remembered it and a decently sized ship rolled into the dock this was a rare occurence for the village to get a visitor that they havent seen before so hayato went to go check it out then on the way there he heard yelling and started seeing smoke so he ran back to the bakery there his parents hide him in the basement while they went out to help the others then later he heard a knock on the door so he opened it and then he was picked up by the front of his shirt by a pirate and Hayato fought back against the man and was thrown to the ground by the man after he bit his arm and the man started aproaching Hayato then one man yelled out from the ship "Oi If yah dont wanna be left behind get on the damn ship' And the man lost intrest in him and started jogging back to the ship leaving Hayato by the burning buildings.He stayed on the island for about a week eating burnt food and drinking from the old well then one day as he was scaveging for food he saw a marineship going by the island and started yelling to get the boats attention and by some sliver of luck they noticed him and took him in and told him that those people were slavers and his parents were probaly sold off already if they werent killed off. After the ride back to the marine base were he was raised and was recruited into the marines mainly to be a janitor but to be usefull outside of that and to protect people from what happened he trained to be a sword master.
