"I'm here for the adventure, the treasure is secondary but if you don't mind..."
Full Name: Hageshī Freya
Alias/Nickname:
Race: Giant
Gender: Female
Age: 55
Faction: Pirate
Appearance: Starting from the top Freya has long strait red hair that she keeps in a pony tail in preparation for combat. Her skin is only lightly tanned from the sun due to long hours spent outdoors. She has oval shaped eyes with seafoam green irises that shine when she's excited. Her nose is small on her face and her lips are a little thin for her face shape. She has a large bust even for her height but it's offset slightly by her musculature. She has very well defined muscles everywhere on her body such that you can make out the shapes of her biceps and abdominal muscles.
Freya has a hair band to make sure her bangs don't fall in front of her eyes, the band itself is bronze colored and is metallic in nature. She has a short tight fitting top corset that stops just above her bellybutton, the top is brown with bronze accents and darker brown laces. The bottom half of her outfit consists of tight fitting shorts that are dark purple with brown leather skirt that stops just above the knee. She keeps a dark purple sash around her waist and it is accompanied by dark purple finger-less gloves that she hardly ever takes off.
Hair Color: Red (Scarlet)
Eye Color: Green (Seafoam)
Height: 52' 8" (Fifty two feet, Eight Inches)
Weight: 112,697 lbs
Personality: Freya is typically friendly to strangers, and tends to act very carefully and deliberately when interacting with those that are smaller than herself. Freya is confident in most areas regarding strength and fighting however she doesn't flaunt it like some might expect, often being even humble and reserved when simply talking about it. She is easily flustered by complements which tends to cause problems for her, although she can maintain being serious if she absolutely has to. Freya tends towards a child like sense of wonder about the world around her and while not naive she is easily impressed by even mundane things.
She doesn't exactly have sticky fingers but once she has something she has a hard time letting go of it if it is interesting to her which ends up with her being a pack rat of sorts for junk that she doesn't need.
The exception to her being humble is when she is actually fighting, her pride as a giant is on full display but she doesn't talk big she Acts. For most of how she thinks the same goes, Actions speak louder than words and so if she feels strongly about something she will act on it rather than simply talking about it. When she isn't acting she is soft spoken and rarely looses her temper when personally provoked, attacking her friends or people she likes on the other hand is unacceptable behavior.
Likes: Freya generally enjoys a good fight, good food and close friends. She has a sense of wanderlust that lets her enjoy travel and seeing new places and things. Fighting and food can be attributed to her giant heritage feeling the need to test her own strength whenever possible. Freya also has an affinity for interesting items, bobbles, weapons or really anything that is well crafted. Regardless of the usefulness of such items to her she wants to have a big collection of things.
Dislikes: Freya is not a big fan of cold weather, she spent a lot of time adapting to high heat and going so far in the other direction causes her a bit of discomfort. The other half to wanderlust is Freya's dislike of staying in one place for too long, or the same place for too long if she isn't moving around she's not exactly happy. The last thing on Freya's list of dislikes is bullies, She learned from when she was small to be careful and mindful of people especially if they weren't as strong as you and dislikes those that would hold their strength over someone else in that way.
Moral Alignment: Gonna go with Chaotic Good here
History: Freya actually grew up on Outset Island her father was one of the first Giant Marines and when he joined up he took his daughter to live among the humans, the retired marines. Due to the nature of her being a giant she didn't really get to interact with the other children on the island all that much at first, people were scared of her, scared she would hurt them without meaning to. The only thing that actually got her busy was the Marines that her dad left in charge of training her to fight when he wasn't there. There were a few different styles of fighting that they tried to teach her but without tools for her size the easiest was hand to hand combat. It wasn't until she had been living there for a few years before the other children were too curious about the girl that was more than double their height living so close to them that they started to spy on her. It wasn't until her dad actually came to visit that they actually came up to talk to her for the first time. They asked typical questions like kids do and her dad answered most of them and after that things changed a bit for her. Once the other children decided she was safe enough to play with they started getting into a bit of trouble as well as exploration. Freya went just about everywhere the island itself had to offer but, as a giant she didn't age the same as some of the others and she wasn't quite grown when they all shipped out on their own adventures.
Despite the gap in aging and thing things that she could still do on the island, training and all that Freya got upset about being left behind in a very preteen fashion and made plans to strike out on her own. It only took Freya a couple of years to understand ocean currents and weather patterns so that she could navigate the sea. She left in the middle of the night on a ship just barley big enough to carry her. She arrived at the island nearest to hers Roundabout Atoll had marines on it but apparently everyone had overlooked Freya sneaking off and stealing a boat because they didn't stop her when she pulled into the port. She was taken by the sights having been around the same things for more than twenty years she was absolutely absorbed in the sites, however it wasn't like nobody noticed the Giant little girl wandering around. Most though just assumed that she was somehow lost, and this lead her to a very interesting development.
A nice old fisherman let her stay at his house while she was on the island, she dumbly hadn't thought to bring enough food with her for after she reached the island and didn't have any money to speak of. She wanted to do something for him but he wouldn't hear of it, and the first thing he could offer her was a selection of tropical fruit from the island. She got about half way through when she tasted it, probably the most horrid fruit she had ever eaten, she choked and swallowed. At the time she didn't realize it but she had eaten a devil fruit, and it wasn't even minutes later when she accidentally used it and caved in a portion of the fisherman's house. The commotion got the marines on the island involved and having realized what happened they had Freya shipped back to her home but by then it was a bit too late, she had seen a fraction of the world and she wanted more.
Freya spent the next years of her life building up her physical fitness as well as her fighting style incorporating her newfound devil fruit powers into it. She really had no strong feelings about joining the marines, honestly the prospect of it seemed kind of boring to Freya, she wanted to go see what hardly anyone had seen. That was before Gol D. Rodger was executed his final declaration sparked something in her, the One Piece, the adventure! that's what she wanted and so like years before she took a ship and sailed into the horizon this time much more prepared and with a clear goal in mind.
